Nice float valve, better than plastic
Works well, float level is easily adjustable, appears to be sturdy and well made. I got this to replace a plastic valve that failed to completely shut off the water flow.

Perfect Valve For Gravity Fed Low Pressure System!
Very Impressive Valve! Combined with rod and float, created a trough filling system that operates with very low head pressure for a low flow gravity fed system. Easily adapted to upstream mesh filter and common garden hose to supply tank.

Good valve
I am using this valve to fill a cistern from our local areas irrigation system. We are on the end of the line of that system so we don't have much pressure. As such I have a cistern that is filled from this valve automatically and a pumpthat supplies our gardening needs.

Great valve Great price
I had a project on our little farm I was working on. Barrels, check, bucket ,check, valve ,Hmmmm, where to get one? Local hardware store (any of five),local Tractor supply, any local farm store? Nope. So I went to the internet I found quite a few. Plastic just did not seem right for what I was doing , so brass it was, next was price. Looked and looked seemed forever then Amazon.com popped up and hey look a 3/4" brass tank float valve for less then $20.00 . WOW . I now have it and have completed my project. The valve works perfect even with my very low water pressure (1-2gpm maybe). Cows are loving it.Now lets just hope everything goes as planned and no freeze ups. Geo-thermal projects just amaze me. And now I know where I'm going to get my very well made valves at a good price AMAZON.COM .

Weepy valve
I like that it is made of brass and is a solid valve. So far I have not been able to get the valve to shut off completely. I’m still working on adjusting float , but am running out of room for adjusting. Not sure if it is a valve problem or float issue.

it steadily supplies water to a 250 gal tire water tank with no issues.
I used it with the kerick Valve PF06 Polyethylene Sphere Float Ball, 6" Diameter, 6" Length, 1/4" Female Thread, Black. That I bought off amazon as well. instead of connecting them together with a single shaft, I used eyelets and a piece of rope to secure the two pieces together so that the cows wouldn't bend or break the rod or valve when they played with the float. because we all know they will. I'm not sure which was worse. those darn cows or the Horses trying to kick it. needless to say the rope idea really saved us from having to purchase more parts. I will say though. you need a heavy weight on the swing arm in order for the valve listed above to work correctly.. if you plan on having a secondary tank to fill, I would definitely go with a 1" valve or bigger.
