It has basic necessary vitamins and is not loaded up with a lot of unnecessary minerals. Like many quality multivitamins, it does not include iron in case you take a separate iron supplement. Doctor has warned that too much iron ends up being just so much rust that stays in your body. My husband really likes Centrum Silver. He feels very good and never has any stomach upset even when taking it on an empty stomach.
