Very practical and easy to use.
The meter arrived in a few days and in perfect order. This very useful meter has just one big knob (no confusion possible!). You twist the big knob to measure magnetic (in milligauss) or electric field (in volt/meter) strength, or radio frequency effect (or density) (in milliwatt/m2). The magnetic and electric field strength can be measured standard, the real value so to speak, or weighted (that is: adjusted), according to disturbance (read: damaging impact) for live/organic organisms. The screen can be backlit and a tiny loudspeaker can give audio feedback. However the sound is very faint, barely audible. This meter capture and show you the very fast and short and, lo and behold, grotesquely strong RF pulses from your mobile phone or iPad. After this shocking discovery I now always put my iphone and ipad in flight mode when not in use. Then the meter is quiet and I feel safe and happy. It has also been a relevation to check on the microwave oven. When in use I now keep a good distance, a safe distance according to the meter reading. My comfy chair and bed is radiaton free according to the meter. : ) And since I have refused the installation of a smart wireless electricity meter I do not have that to worry about. (However the electricity supplier has inflicted upon me an extra yearly punishment fee of NOK 2000,- for my insubordination). (In my early career I watched colleagues warming their hands on RF leaking plugs and connections ...) Myself a retiree now, however with a university degree in applied physics and electronics and a working career in telecom/radiocom, the Trifield TF2 EMF meter is a true little beauty of simplicity and usefulness and it is therefore highly recommended for the amateur and the professional alike for easy everyday check and monitoring of your personal electromagnetic environment.

Reassuring to have this excellent Trifield EMF Meter
Excellent EMF meter. Measures all 3 types of EMF radiation. Good to have to check over your home and make changes as necessary to help reduce amounts your body receives. Excellent value for money. Meter goes off the scale when near the 4G/5G phone masts even when you are in your car!

Hard to figure out (especially if you're being fried by gov) so i made notes as below.
STANDARD MAG (Standard Magnetic Fields REGARDLESS OF FREQUENCY):- Power lines, appliances, wiring in walls, motors. Low EMF = Below 3m/3.0 (mG/milligauss). STANDARD ELEC (Standard Electric Fields REGARDLESS OF FREQUENCY):- Fluorescent lights, light-switches, sockets, electrical-switches. Low = Below 50 (V/m/volts per meter). WEIGHTED MAG (Weighted Magnetic Fields):- For higher frequencies which create more electric current in human body, eg. 60Hz = body receives field pulses 60 times per second. Power lines, appliances, wiring in walls, motors. Low EMF = Below 5/5.0 (mG/milligauss). WEIGHTED ELEC (Weighted Electric Fields):- Fluorescent lights, sockets, wiring, electrical-switches. Low = Below 50 (V/m/volts per meter). RF (Radio/Microwave Frequencies):- Phones, routers, ovens, radio/TV stations, masts, smart-meters. Low = Below 0.200 (mW/m2/milliwatts per square meter). For BRIEF PULSES of phones, routers, masts, smart-meters USE PEAK Measurement:- Low Peak RF = Below 1.000 (mW/m2/milliwatts per square meter).

Brilliant.
Love it. Such a cool piece of tech. Makes me feel like I'm in some old movie. Found out my sons bed is a active massively at night. His multi plug extention cable is touching his metal table, which is touching his metal bed and awning the frequency through his bed. Not just by touch, but by a field of energy closer around the table. Turn off the plugs and it goes. Move away from the table and it goes. Very interesting to see these things that your eyes wouldn't believe exist.

Not Reliable Readings
Firstly I got to say the sellers were pretty helpful and no issues with the returns. Amazon (after many calls as poor communication on their end) had got the refund resolved, however they too were helpful but very poor in communication. I would not have any issues buying from the sellers directly as their website is approx 30 quid less than Amazon - but definitely not the same product. In relation to the Tri Field meter itself - well made as the reviews I read about the Cornet which was my first preference, however many people feedback complained the unit was brilliant then went to garage in months. The Tri field was returned due to the followings reasons: No original packaging as the product was inserted in non manufacturer case - the sellers own case as they were selling the unit and case together however I argue the product should be posted in its original packaging. No film peel off on the LCD screen. Marks seen on the right side of the unit and where it stated standard In letters above the tuning knob - half the S was missing which makes me think this was a refurb product or pre-used. The product gave false readings on everything. My laptop and iPad were giving zero voltage readings when clearly in use and Plugged into the AC. My alarm clock - (no battery inserted) no power lines above the property was In fact giving off electrical and magnetic field readings when unplugged from the wall socket AC. The same goes for my laptop , free standing fan and heavy duty portable radiator. All power sourced directly from the mains - no batteries. The seller clearly said this was faulty when something is no connected to anything - why is it giving off any readings ? He agreed. I tried the lights - readings were much higher when the led spot lights were switched off than on... Very disappointed in the product delivery and the performance of the product itself. This product is not accurate by any means. Research more and spend more and get better sense of knowledge and security for you and your family. I have had the pleasure of conversing with someone else who owns this product and they said the unit does not give accurate readings especially RF. pretty much what their saying on you tube too.

Best on Market for real results.
Not a toy or play thing. It is a instrument which can give you very good information if used correctly. I grabbed a pelican box that fits it perfect and has valve pressure release and fully water proof. Best idea for keeping it safe and not easy to miss place. Prices for size very fair as there gear takes a hiding. Recommend the non tin foil hat emf book for good researched info. 👍😎🇦🇺

Reliable and consistent. Worth it!
Easy to use and works consistently. I've been able to pinpoint hot spots for electrical activity as well as RF / Wireless which has allowed me to change my environment in ways that reduce my exposure to these things. Who would have thought that my alarm clock gave off so much static electricity, which was even still measurable on my pillow - disappearred when the alarm clock was unplugged. This device showed me the electrical reading coming off of my powered recliner which prompted me to hook that up to a power bar which I switch off once I get my comfortable position. Greatest concentration of electricity pretty much exactly where you sit. Not good for my boys! A very useful tool indeed. Highly recommend.

Kaufempfehlung

Great meter
I really like this meter. Seems to be very accurate. One thing that would be great if they would add would be some kind of an ability to look at history. RF frequencies are very difficult to kind of track down and they come and they go. One thing that this does, it tells you the peak and then it also tells you the average, which is very helpful. But when when the levels change so much it can be a little overwhelming to get a handle on it so that’s why I suggest some kind of a history where you could look at maybe a period of several minutes and take the average over that timeframe. Download it and analyze it. But other than that, the device is great. One other thing I would suggest to the company is that they add some kind of a handle or a grip to the to the meter because it’s a little slippery and I have to be careful that I don’t drop it. There’s a few other minor things but overall I think it’s a great meter.

Really interesting to have on hand!
Given our dependency on technology (and because I'm a crunchy granola hippy), I thought it'd be interesting to see the EMF levels in our house and the surrounding neighbourhood to ensure we are not being zapped. Things to keep in mind: we live in India. Our house is a farm house in a semi-rural area, but is quickly urbanising. Our home is constructed of thick cement that honestly rivals a WWII bunker. It's my understanding people should not be exposed to more than 60 V/m (the standard ELEC setting) and 1 mW/m squared (the RF setting). What we discovered is this (and what the pictures hopefully illustrate): --My cell phone, which is an Apple 8 and generally connects to either the WiFi or LTE when using cell service, had a very high reading on RF, and it would frequently max out the reader. Most of the time it got 6-11 and up to 20 mw/m when the call was connected, and 2-3 when not connected. It was at .2-something when in airplane mode. Best to keep calls to a minimum, hold the phone away when connecting, either keep the call short or hold it on speaker phone when talking, and then put it in another room when done. RF is negligible when the phone is far away, so that's good. --Electrical outlets are really high at 400 V/m when switched on, to the point that it's advisable to switch off all outlets when not in use or when not needed. This is especially true if you sleep next to power outlets due to the positioning of the bed. --Though this is the case, the V/m drops considerably when one backs up even just a few feet. So, even just moving furniture a few feet away from outlets can help significantly. --Laptops should never be used when plugged in, because the EMFs were off the charts--it often topped out the reader went to insane levels of 900-1,000! I had no idea how dangerously high my computer got when connected to a power source, and now I will absolutely not use my computer on anything other than battery. In fact, I will be willing to replace the battery in my machine when it gets depleted, rather than use it plugged in. I wish I knew this earlier, as my previous laptop HAD to run from a power source on account of the battery being exhausted. I had used it this way for years, yikes! When on battery, no EMF levels were detected. --Our router showed 262 V/m. It too dropped when one moved away, to the point that where I sit the next room over, I have a reading of 0 V/m. --My husband's work station has a number of computer screens, a wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, tons of wires, and he loves his gadgets. He sits next to the router. With all these things, his station is 260 V/m at chair level, worse when he moves closer to the offenders. I'm trying to convince him to rejig his office. --The large yard enclosing our house (and most houses, I imagine) reads 0 V/m. --When leaving our house to walk along the road strung with electrical poles (as we do in the evenings), the reading is 60 at my head height and 70 at my husband's. When I hold the reader as high as it can go, the reading as 120+ V/m. The reading is 120+ at head height when walking past the transformers and junction boxes. I'll be rethinking the walks up and down the road, for sure. --On the second floor, the reading is 0: this is good, considering that the poles get more intense with height. Thankfully the house seems far enough away to put the influence of these poles to null. I can edit this review and include more info when we visit our flat in the heart of the city, to see if that makes a difference. Hopefully this helps either persuade someone to buy the product or be mindful of the things I learned. So yeah, great product, definitely worth the spend for the information it provided. Very easy to use.
