This review is for the "DKE Desktop Computer Power Switch Power Supply Control Adapter Cable 2M External PC Power Button ATX Desktop Computer Case Motherboard Switch On Off Power SW Cables, Black". This switch has made my life a little easier. I no longer need to reach down my office desk to turn on my PC. This product has many small details I did not think about when I bought it. For example, the base of the switch is magnetic so it can stick against a metal surface. That said the package includes a small round magnetic sticker should you need it. The cord is long enough (about ~6 feet). Depending how you connect it to your motherboard, the switch can optionally light up when the PC is powered on. It also allows for the power button of your PC case to continue working alongside it. To summarize, the power switch works fine and is very convenient.

Amazing quality and the magnets are amazing! For only $6.99 it’s wonderful. It looks great and is easy to install. It’s compatable with all motherboards. Amazing for the money that you spend. Well worth it.

I love that this is a mechanical keyboard switch. It is so satisfying to press each morning to turn my PC on and also to put my PC to sleep throughout the day. Almost so that I want to press it all the time haha. this has been a big quality-of-life upgrade. No more crawling under my desk to find the difficult-to-see and feel "on" button of the PC case. It wasn't too hard to install. You will need your motherboard manual to know what pins to tap onto. I had to make some changes to my configuration due to mine not being exactly a standard consumer PC. I do wish that it had a Y-splitter for both the LED and the Power-Switch (included Power-Switch splitter only). Not a big deal since I cannot really even see my PC case to notice the LED anyhow. I love this thing and I want more, but not sure what I would use more of them on... yet.

Works as it should. I previously had my tower mounted to the wall up high and it was great to mount a power button under my desk (hidden). The wire length is more long enough to mount within reasonable distance. The installation is easy for anyone that is semi familiar with building a PC and if not as long as you follow the instructions you should be good. The led light is bright but not crazy. I've had it for several years, so the durability seems adequate.

Works great, cable length worked for my situation, and it was easy enough to connect it to the mobo. Plan your cable routing ahead of time as this can be tricky depending on where you have your pc/where you want the button to be. It’s all one piece and can’t be unplugged easily, so you need to make sure the button at the end is in a good spot before you install it to your pc. Also for me the LED light stopped working after maybe 6 months. Not a deal breaker but would be nice to still have this functionality.

Perfect replacement after the power button on my computer case stopped working. The magnets are really nifty too!

I got this switch because my PC is under my desk. The other options on Amazon were too bulky for me. I just installed the switch and it seems to work perfectly. Things to note: 1. The LED is not very bright and it's a sky blue color. The light isn't annoyingly bright with the room lights on or off. 2. The switch has a magnetic base. It comes with a metal circle that has 3M adhesive on the back so you can mount it anywhere you can stick the circle or on any magnetic surface. 3. It really does have the mechanical key clicking sound when pressed. Before you buy this or any other power button: Open up your PC and look at your power button cables. I installed this on a Dell Optiplex 3010. This PC has a 5-pin connector for the power button. I plugged the 4-pins of the switch into the corresponding pins on the motherboard and it did work with some warning messages at startup. In the end, I cut the splitter cable and soldered it directly to the existing power button cables. Then I just plugged the switch into the splitters. Using this method I get no warnings and I can still use the original button. I'm sure you can just strip the cables and tie them together but I recommend you at least use shrink tubes or twist ties. I'm pretty happy with the purchase and the install wasn't too bad. It was only a hassle because I assumed my PC had a regular power button. The provided cables are clearly labeled and the instructions were written on the box.

Works great! Also comes with a splitter for the power switch which allows you to keep the original button as well as add this one. Great product.
