Is the csb2 speed brew model made in the usa? nhs i believe in made in china and they lump these together.

How many cups does make?

I just bought this one and not a big fan of it. I preferred my 10 year old one much better. This one we only get 4 cups of coffee.

Yes. The only thing you hear is the coffee dripping into the pot. In fact, it’s so quiet that you have to bend down to make sure the coffee is no longer flowing before you pour a cup. Other than that, at some point after you make coffee you will hear a couple of minutes of nearly silent rumbling as the water in the reservoir heats back up.

Im confused. Do you leave this on? With all the water in it? Then add, say, 4 cups of water, the grounds, and it "knows" to brew it?

The water stays heated in a reservoir and when you add your 4 cups or whatever amount of water and close the lid it instantly forces the heated water into the brewing process. Very fast brewing method which is why you see a lot of the commercial version of these in restaurants. Just remember as soon as you close the lid the heated water starts out so you need to have the coffee funnel and pot in place.
