Great phone for my mother in-law. Very easy for her to use.

I wasn't a senior when I started using Jitterbug phones, but the price was right and they are super-easy to use. Great customer service, too. Now that I am a senior, I see no reason to change. These are fine phones, and the newest model, the Smart 4, is supposed to be "much improved." The only way they could have improved it, in my opinion, was the camera. But unlike young people, that's not a huge concern for me. My Smart 3s were perfectly adequate for me, at a great price. I've had about half a dozen and will not change from them. Good, good product.

Did not go with Lively but Net10. Verizon network. Only problem I have is that the voicemail app does not work. It is preinstalled by Lively. If anyone knows how to override this let me know. Have to dial *86 to get voicemail messages and set up the greeting. You won't know that you have a message unless you see the missed call. I am paying $20/month. This is a great little phone I bought for my husband who cannot use a standard smart phone. Nobody that sees it knows that it's not a standard smartphone...so he looks smart! If I didn't have a regular smartphone I would use this myself.

This is supposed to be easy to use. Yes, there are many other bad reviews, but somehow I was hopeful and tried it anyway. It's my third cell phone, and the only one that I may have to return or throw into the trash. First of all, to set it up, you're supposed to call a certain phone number. But when you dial that number, all you get is a recording that says the number is out of service. Then, somewhere in the instruction booklet, I found a second phone number, but that number gave the same result as the first one. So I called their Customer Service. That person managed, after about an hour, and with some difficulty, to connect me to a "set-up specialist" with whom I spent two or three hours on the phone. Finally she said my phone was ready to go. But it wasn't. It still won't receive incoming calls. It's advertised as "simple," but it's by far the most ridiculously complicated and impossible to use of any phone I've tried. I will be either returning it or tossing it into the trash.

This is my first smart phone (having owned a simple flip phone for years), and so I wanted something simple-to-use and not too expensive. The monthly fee is not cheap but not expensive either. It's very easy to set up and extremely easy if you don't keep your old phone number. If you keep your previous number, it will take much longer to activate. I chose a new random number, and it was working within an hour. I highly recommend this item to anyone who wants a phone that is easy to use and that won't put too much strain on your finances.

Arrived with a totally dead battery. All I’ve done so far is charge the battery. This took several hours.

Purchased for my 86 year old roommate and shenloves it. Its simple for her to use as she can see the screen very clearly. Its loud enough that she can hear the ring tone and she was able to text for the first time. Setup was easy no issues. I did a test call to customer service and while i had to have them call me back they did so within 10 minutes. Highly recommend
