Best investment
This is the best investment a guy can make. To be able to lift weights at home is life changing. I had this exact set (60 lb set), lost it in a move, and just replaced it. IMPORTANT: Watch the plates as you lift during and between sets. The collars can shift, weight and motion of the plates can relatively quickly come off and liable to drop a plate during a set, which could crush your foot or face depending on what you're doing. I had the 8lb plate fall off while doing standing dumbbell curls and thank goodness it missed my foot by a few inches. Just always be looking at the collars AS you lift, and tighten them back between sets. I believe it is partly because the threads on the bars are sparse and wide; a more finely densely threaded bar and collar design might prevent slipping (in case manufacturer is reading this). The little tightening screws on the collar are not engineered well enough to handle the plate weight and motion. It is a risk to use these dumbbells but IT IS WORTH using them despite the risk. Be watchful and frequently tighten collars between sets or even during a set of you need to. Keep Lifting!!!! Much more versatile and less expensive than buying various fixed weights. 60 lb set includes: 2x dumbbell bars at 4lb each 4x 8lb plates 4x 5lb plates 4x screw on collars to secure the weights onto the bars Keep in mind each bar weighs 4 lbs, so if you load them evenly, you'll have, in each hand: 2x 8 lb plates = 16 lbs 2x 5 lb plates = 10 lbs 1x 4lb bar = 4 lbs Total for each hand = 30 lbs Keep in mind you can increase the weight too if you want to do some workouts with just one barbell, which is perfectly fine. Ie load a dumbbell to 56 lbs and just do one arm at a time, or for heavy tricep press etc. The set came very well packaged in tight fitting foam, nothing sliding around, and in perfect condition (see photo). The box also has a glossy instructions pamphlet which shows a a good variety of exercises, in case you are just starting out as a weight lifter. This is a very well made set, high quality steel bars and quality plates, although the plates are traditional and don't have rubberized coating, so I suggest getting some good dense rubber or foam floor mats if you're using these on hardwood floor to avoid dinging the wood or maybe even if on concrete if you're worried about clanging when you set them down (or just put them down gently and don't just drop em like some people do at the gym). This 60 lb set is absolutely perfect and fine for anyone from a beginner to a fairly fit man, especially considering you can load one bell higher than 30lbs and alternate arms. You can always buy more plates to stack on the bars if you get to that point, but if you have this set as well as a barbell set and power cage, you are SET to get RIPPED. (With decent food intake lol). For the price, quality, and versatility this is THE dumbbell set every man should own.

I couldn't be happier.
I'm a little bit baffled by some of the negative reviews for this product so I want to comment on the complaints posted. I have had absolutely no metal shavings come off the bar. Some people have complained that metal shavings and splinters were all over the floor where the dumbbells are used and even got splinters in their hands. Maybe the product has been improved but I haven't experienced any such problems. Second, others have complained that the paint has come off the plates. Again, I haven't experienced that at all and, even if I did, I wouldn't care. After all, they're just weights. But the paint on mine has not fallen off at all. In my opinion, complaints about chips and dents on the surface of the plates is trivial even if there are chips and dents. Again, we're talking about weights. Also, I haven't had problems with the spin-on collars with the exception of one slightly loosening when I was doing fast curls but I simply tightened it down a bit more and I haven't had any problems since but it really wasn't a problem then because it only loosened slightly and wasn't anywhere near the end of the bar. It just caused a slight rattle which I haven't experienced since simply tightening the collars down a bit more. If there was one thing that I could criticize - and this is VERY MINOR thing - it would be that I would have liked the bars (where your hands go) to be slightly larger because I have large hands. But I must stress that this is such a minor thing that I was hesitant to even mention it. If I thought it was a problem, I could easily rectify it but it's not worth bothering with. I just ignored complaints by reviewers who complained that they didn't get the total pounds for EACH dumbbell that was listed for the set. They simply didn't read the description carefully and they should not rate a product poorly because of their own mistake, IMO. I bought the 60 lb. set and the description makes it perfectly clear that it makes two 30 lb. dumbbells. These dumbbells are very well made. I was hesitant to order them because I always read the negative reviews for products and there's a higher than normal number of negative reviews or if some of those reviews report serious problems, I generally don't buy that product but I couldn't be happier with these dumbbells. They're a great value. I bought the 60 lb. set but also ordered four 2 1/2 lb. disks and four 1 1/2 lb. disks.

They are best for the price, honestly. The connector is also decent.
**Make sure you get specifically the 1 in ones if you plan on using them for other stuff, or buying multiple sets to interchange weight plates. Not all of them have the same size plates and bars, the 52 and 105 somethings are weirdly 1.15 or such. Obviously those won't fit your standard 1in other stuff. Look at the picture and specifications. ** *The individual bars are supposed to be 4 lbs, with screw on caps. * They only fit 3 weights on each side, for a total of 6 on 1 dumbbell. That means you can't use all 8 plates on 1. The 200 pound set that's now exorbitantly covid-priced at $625 and has an extra 2in or so that might let you squeeze a smaller extra plate, but pretty much any other set won't. 6 plates max on a dumbbell bar. The pictures some of the other reviewers posted might make it seem like you'll fit 4 on each side or even 5, but if you look closely you'll see that some of the plates put together can give off an impression of another plate that isn't there, and or you'll see that they purchased the 200 set. That's my only real gripe with the product, I really wish you could use all 8 on an individual bar with the caps. I might end up buying a longer handle from a different brand as a result, later down the road. As some reviewers pointed out the weights aren't super accurate, there might be a .3 to 1 discrepancy in either direction. I didn't weigh each piece, but something that should have weighed 15, weighed 14 lbs. That is a little annoying but even so its still the best price point, and gets the job done. The connector is a lil annoying to screw together, you'll be able to get 8 plates if you put one in the middle handle ends, 10 probably if you leave off the screw to the connector part. It works. Its not the most comfortable for something like squats, as even if you only put weights on the ends, its short. Its workable depending on your size. It'll work for like close grip presses, and even deadlifts. As good as an actual bar, no. But good enough to not have to shill out an extra $30-80 on a crappy space taking 1nch standard bar? Yeah, good nuff.

Pleasantly surprised by the finish and precision of the bars and retaining locks, but...
Not at all cheap looking or hard to use. One fact worth noting is that these sets are not that clearly described. The presentation of different dumbbell sets is confusing. They offer several dumbbell configurations, and if you get too wrapped up in trying to figure out how making just one dumbbell could make the same total weight as a pair, even though your are just using only1 dumbbell bar. So one dumbbell will weigh 5 lbs less than the pair. What you should be noticing is that the diameter of the bars and the inner diameter of the locking nuts, and the holes in the plates are 1.15 inches for some of the sets, and 1 inch for other dumbbell pairs. This matters because I got one pair of 20 lbs (1.15 in. dia.), one pair 25 lbs (1" in. dia.) and one pair 30 lbs (1" in. dia.). So it's like this. All of the metal plates will go on the four 1" bars, including these 1.15" plates. Only the plates and nuts that came with the 1.15 set will go on those bars. That's no problem for me. Most of my weights go on most of my bars. Just know what you're getting and you will love the quality! I'm disappointed by the descriptions. Even the photos of the product don't match the products described. Forget the photos and read the description! On the plus side, the quality, and the price are great IMHO. Also they arrived very quickly! In the end I give them 5 stars based on the product and delivery.

A Great Workout Tool
These are very good weights for the price. They do not take up a lot of space and are easy to adjust. They donโt smell bad and they are easy to grip. I really have no complaints about them. They are a great addition to my workout without spending a lot of money. They are easy to use and I did not even look at the instructions.

Great weights for the price
These weights are a great value for the price. contents of the box for the 60lb option: 4 lb dumbbell bars x2 8 lb plates x 4 5 lb plates x4 spin lock collars x4 The specific option I chose adds up to 60lbs or 30lbs per dumbbell. There is another review on here that mentions this is the best price/lb of weight and this is definitely true. Yes they have to be unscrewed and plates need to be removed/added to adjust the weight. It is not like some of the dumbbells you see now days where you can spin the sides to adjust but these weights are also a fraction of the cost. There is also room left on the bar to add additional weights if desired. Without getting to in depth on my review I can just say this. If you are looking to get some weights that you can use to lift at home. These are 100% your best option in the price/lb range in my opinion. Had these about 2 months now and have had no issues with collars coming off or any other issues.

Adjustable Dumbbell Review
Works perfectly. Wish the rubber on the locks were glued on but that's the only nitpick I have. Haven't tried up to 60lbs yet though. Only up to 30lbs but everything seems alright

Probably the Best Quality at the Pricepoint / Loose Collars
Started using the dumbbell set roughly a month ago. The assembly went smoothly and really amounts to separate bars with the weights attached incrementally. Though I'm not sure if Yes4All sells the individual weights, I find this optimal for scaling my home gym in the future. The weights are, as expected, accurate and relatively durable, withstanding being regularly dropped onto a concrete floor on a near daily basis. However, if you're considering picking these up I would urge you not to be too careless with the handling of the weights. After a few weeks of use I noticed the collars coming lose, leading me to have to regularly re-screw the weights tighter. This becomes especially bothersome having to stop in the middle of a set to perform maintenance I really shouldn't have to. In this capacity, I would also advise you to avoid doing skullcrushers or pullovers if you really value your skull's integrity. If you're willing to risk minor brain damage, however, use these to your heart's and of course body's, content.

High quality and durable adjustable dumbbells
The shipping process for these dumbbells was reasonably swift, especially given their weight. One of the standout features is the steel/metal grip on the handles, which truly enhances the overall experience. However, it's worth noting that with prolonged use, you might develop calluses on your palms. While this could be seen as a potential downside, there's an intriguing upside: calluses can actually offer a better grip during exercises, albeit at the expense of smooth-looking hands. One impressive aspect is the ease of loading the plates onto the dumbbells. The rubber bearing on the star collars ensures a secure fit, preventing any unwanted shifting during workouts. A small suggestion for those considering gifting these dumbbells: due to their weight, the packaging might not hold up well. Thus, opting to gift them without the packaging could be a thoughtful choice. The process of loading and unloading plates onto the dumbbells is refreshingly straightforward. However, it's accompanied by a substantial noise factor โ the clunky sound of plates colliding can be quite noticeable. Although this might not be ideal for quieter workout environments, the solid build quality and durability of both the plates and the dumbbells themselves are hard to overlook. They appear to last a long time and are a worthwhile investment. As someone who dedicates themselves to critiquing and reviewing products professionally, your support is invaluable. If my insights resonate with you, a thumbs-up would be greatly appreciated cuz I write these reviews for a living. Thank you for considering my perspective!

Review for 60lbs set
First of all the pair of dumbells are very solid built. I measured with boday scale with one and without. The difference is exactly 30lbs. To my suprise, the bar is pretty heavy:30-8*2-5*2=4lbs! I also measure a pair of 8 lbs, it looks like a bit off: might be rounding error of the scale. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the process of getting this is so long: I ordered during prime day(July 13), but I was told after 10 days of not shipping, there was a technical error. I had to cancel it, and order it again as I was promised to get refund since the price had returned to normal. Then again after 5-6 days, the order still not shipped or not even estimation of shipping. So I contacted support again, I was told about different reasons by different support agents, technical error(again!), and could be the item was not in nearby fullfillment centre. I had to cancel again. This time after a few days, I got an estimate of arriving 2 weeks after order. So now after more than a month, I finally got it! Bottom, I don't mind the shippment can be slow, but it's so untransparent about the item status makes me irrated! So it looks like only 1 person was correct. So be careful and be prepared if your item not shipped in time!
