Silicagel Factory...can these be dried in the oven an reused? Two customers have given different answers so I want to hear from manufacturer. :)

Yes, you can dehydrate them in the oven or microwave. These packets are made of specially coated paper. You can bake them in the oven for 2.5 - 4 hours. It hasn't happened and the possibility is low, but there is a chance of fire. You can also microwave for 1-2 minutes in low power. If you microwave in high power, the silica gel beads might crack. what size should I get for a 3oz package of jerky?

1 gram will work for 3 oz package but if people normally use oxygen absorber to keep the jerky fresh. This package absorbs moisture in the package.
