Cute cheap sunglasses with real UV protection
These sunglasses come with an information card describing their UV400 standard of eye protection. This is different than “polarized,” and it means the lenses block any radiation under a 400 nm wavelength. That includes all UVA and UVB rays - the harmful ones that cause DNA damage in mammals, and lead to possible irreversible retinal damage or cancer. This brand has been around a little while - I bought my first pair of these almost 3 yrs ago. I’ve since purchased other colors. They are cute, bright colored frames, and I like polka dots. I mostly wear them driving, but also during running and outdoor activities, and they stay on my face and don’t bounce around or pinch behind my ears. Since they’re under $12, it means I won’t be heartbroken when I inevitably lose them, or they become too scratched up to use anymore. I do wish there was a way to scratch-proof the lenses, as they seem to scratch very easily, despite my efforts to put them away in a case, when they aren’t on my face. But that’s the same with even the expensive RayBans and Bollés I’ve had in the past. Overall, it’s nice to have light, comfortable sunglasses that do what sunglasses are supposed to do, and also protect my retinas from UV. I recommend.

The sunglasses are very quality. They fit great and go up on your head easily. They help so much with the sun and they are well worth the money.

My favorite!
I adore these sunglasses and have for years. They are cheap and I don’t keep them in a case so they get scratched up over time - I just buy more. I have several pairs in various colors now. They work well, they look adorable, I get compliments on them often and they are priced right for people like me who just toss them in a bag and go or tend to lose them.

Screw comes out and leg falls off
Breaks easily (screw comes out). But they are so cute I have bought them three times knowing this!
