Is you have a train loving toddler or kid, add to cart or buy now! We LOVE this battery operated train! We’ve had it for two months and haven’t changed the batteries at all. The train has forwards, backwards, stop and start. All with their own sounds! It pulls my son’s other car trains from Melissa and Doug! At a rather decent speed! Goes up and over train bridges as well. Entertains him for hours! Has also survived many throws across the room. Again buy now! We’ve already added the fire truck one to our collection.

Has a hard time turning sharp comers on the track but it is well loved with the boys

Grandson Loves this train set.

Given to 2 year old grandson, he put all his trains together and this engine was strong enough to pull it all around. Much more power from 2 triple A batteries than in other engines we've purchased. Has survived his opening and shutting the doors, putting people in/out. Changng the batteries is easy, and for all he's turned it on and left it on, the batteries last quite awhile. He's remains very engaged with this toy and finds it fun.

Excellent product kids love

Best feature of all is unadvertised. When the train falls off the wooden track or is otherwise removed, the train shuts off automatically, rather than just keep going and going. Compared to other brands, where you have to make sure you turn it off, this saves a TON of time and money after little ones walk away from a train that is "on" only to let the batteries run down. This feature alone sells it. One small imperfection: when the locomotive is going up a hill with several cars in tow, the front end of the locomotive tends to tip upwards. It works fine by itself or with one or two cars. It can tow several cars on straight or curved level tracks, but it needs a little help going up those hills. I was tempted to give this four stars for this reason, but the battery-saving feature trumps this minor complaint.

Smaller than expected but my grandson loves it!

I bought this battery operated train set for my grandson, who lives out of state. Sadly, it did not work. By the time I found out about it, it was too late to return. It seemed like such a fun, well made, toy...but was a big disappointment.

My grandson loved it! Great for 1-3 yr. olds! Well made and sturdy.

This train is really nicely made. Good quality and has three vehicles. It is also great for moving front ward, Backwards and stop. The train makes train sounds. My grandson loves it. You really need to order a set of wooden rains for it too though as it does not come with them.

Grandson got lots of play time out of this train engine.

The train is slow and steady. Sits well on the wooden train set rails. Goes up the hills. A little expensive. Arrived on time and in good condition.
