Very sharp. To keep it that way when cutting recommend only using a wood cutting board.

This is a quality knife - I would never wash it in the dishwasher - even if was labeled “dishwasher safe”. Rg

Where is this knife made?

Not sure, but I would assume China. That being said, it's one of the sharpest and longest edge holding blades in my knife block. Makes my nice henckles perform cheap
