Cantu Care for Kids Conditioning Detangler, 6 fl oz (Pack of 3) | Conditioning, Detangler, with Shea Butter

This detangler helped with my one year old thick hair. He has a lot of curls and it-needs to be detangled daily This is non-greasy and smells great. This detangler sprays great and I just need a small amount to detangle his hair. I use a big teeth comb and all the knots are gone in seconds. I then follow up with Cantu curling creme. It has great ingredients and does not weigh down his hair. Good value here for a nice product.

(3 jar pack creme) After the longest, hottest and dry summer in my remembrance, my normal hair care regime was no longer working. After trying different things I learned online, still my hair was brittle and frizzy. I do not own a blow dryer, hot rollers or curling iron. After much research, I stumbled on this Cantu for Kids leave in conditioner and thought I'd give it a try. My hair is fine, curly & layered. I have a lot of it. Meaning that it looks super thin while wet; thick and full when dry. If you have this hair type: (1) after shampooing, squeeze out excess water. (2) beginning at the ends of hair, massage Cantu from the bottom toward the top of your head. (3) back to step 2 yet this time use fingers to pull through hair and detangle. (4) Use a fine tooth comb and again, beginning at bottom pull comb through working your way to the top. (5) to prevent potential frizz, let hair dry completely before messing with it. (Will be somewhat stiff which is good as its holding in the moisture & softens as you begin to lift and style) After doing this regime just 3 times, am seeing great improvement in looser, softer looking curls. :) BTW has a fresh light scent and inexpensive. Also, after reading many reviews, giving Amazon basics baby shampoo a whirl with the leave in conditioner. (both regular and lavender) Hope this is helpful.

This Cantu detangler has become a staple for our entire family - I use it, and it works great for everyone from toddlers to adults. The product itself is genuinely effective, especially for curly hair types. It makes detangling much easier and less painful, adds just the right touch of moisture without being greasy, and helps manage tangles and frizz really well. The scent is wonderful - not too strong but pleasant enough that everyone in the family likes it. It leaves hair feeling silky smooth and shiny, and the moisturizing effect lasts for several hours after application. For curly hair specifically, it makes everything much more manageable, which is exactly what you want in a detangling product. However, I have to be honest about a major frustration with this product: the bottle design and pump spray are absolutely terrible. It’s incredibly difficult to dispense the product properly. The pump mechanism doesn’t work smoothly, and you end up fighting with it every time you want to use it. This became so annoying that I actually ended up transferring the product to a different bottle just so I could use it effectively. This is particularly frustrating because the product itself is so good. When you have a great formula that works well for the whole family, the last thing you want is to be battling with the packaging every time you need to use it. It’s such a simple thing, but when you’re dealing with wet hair and trying to detangle someone’s (or your own) hair, a poorly designed dispenser becomes a real problem. Despite the packaging issues, I continue to buy this because the product quality is excellent and it works for everyone. I just wish Cantu would redesign their bottle and pump system. If they fixed that one issue, this would be a perfect product.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

We love this detangler. I have 3 girls and this detangler has been a lifesaver. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t weigh their hair down and make it look greasy oily like some other brands we tried. It also works on my older daughter’s thick, wavy hair and my middle daughter’s super fine hair. I’ve even used it on my hair and prefer it to other products. Nice, light fragrance too.
