I've used this product for years and it has always been a purple cream. Now some people are saying in reviews that it is a clear gel. New formula?

I got some from one amazon marketplace vendor that was a clear gel, in the same bottle, last year. But it definitely was not the right stuff. Either there was a bottling mishap, or that vendor was a complete ripoff. Every bottle since then has been the expected purple cream.

The Environmental Working Group has given it this review http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/product/472386/I.C.O.N._Mesh_Measuring_Styling_Cream/, it's major concern is the use of fragrance, which can contain many toxins, but the majority of ingredients have a low-to-mid concern rating. It works really well at taming my frizz and has reduced me from 3 to 1 products! Overall, I feel comfortable and confident using the product.

Is this a leave in cream that you apply to damp hair and leave in ?

of air dry for best results. For the blow dry lotion
