It’s Ink
Nothing special here. The same ink cartridge that is standard for my printer/copier. It’s not XL, so it is a little less expensive. I don’t print often, so it’s hard to say how long it lasts. It was received sealed and without any leakage. The quality is the same as always. It’s black, which is what I ordered. I received what I expected.

Generics don’t always work!
I had bought a generic version for my Canon printer. Just couldn’t get it to fit properly. The printer kept throwing error messages. I had to rush a delivery from Amazon with this cartridge. It fit perfectly!! No error messages. Clear crisp copies!

Genuine.. They work.. But..
No problems with these cartridges at all. I've used them in 3 different printers anecdotes all of them haver performed perfectly. They're definitely genuine Canon ink cartridges. I would suggest or recommend getting the XL cartridges though because these seem to run out of ink fairly quickly which is why I removed one star. The ink has a smooth dark black appearance. If you can't afford the XL cartridge then I recommend these instead.

Good ink
This black printer ink works perfectly right up until the exact moment I need it. Important meeting? Empty. Deadline? Empty. Casual test print at 2 a.m.? Full tank, thriving, living its best life. The print quality is sharp, professional, and confident—briefly. Then it flashes the dreaded “LOW INK” warning after printing three sentences and a comma. I changed this cartridge yesterday. I remember. I was there. It costs more than my lunch budget for the week, installs with a smug little click, and immediately judges me for not using it often enough. Also refuses to print in black unless all other colors are emotionally fulfilled. Would I buy it again? Yes. Do I respect it? No. Does it have power over me? Unfortunately. Four stars because when it works, it works. One star removed for psychological warfare. 🖨️💀

Don’t purchase a canon printer
Horrible . Right away, it indicated printer is low on ink . I ignored it because it was genuine which is recommended . After 2 months no more ink . I am a disabled senior citizen and I am lucky if I print 2 sheets a week . This makes me wonder about the calibre of the canon cartridges. I had a hp desk jet printer and the cartridge for $30 lasted 6 or more months . I am thinking of replacing this printer because the ink cartridge is economically inefficient .
