bought the Hygger LCD Control Automatic Pond Fish Feeder for my koi pond, and it’s been a game-changer! The 5.5L capacity easily holds enough food to last through vacations or busy weeks without worry. I love that it's easy to setup program—up to 6 feedings a day, each with 9 different quantity settings. The digital display makes it simple to monitor and adjust. Plus, the transparent container lets me quickly see when it's time for a refill. It’s durable, quiet, and has worked flawlessly rain or shine. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their fish fed and healthy on a daily basis or while away ! It works well !

Only used it for about 4 days, working good and the mechanism mostly seems robust. There are two small tabs that hold the display that are not robust. One broke when putting the assembly on the table. Maybe it was damaged in shipping? Going to use a screw to replace the tab. Those tabs need to be a lot more robust The programming is odd, needing to push 3 separate buttons to change a setting. All to avoid having up/down buttons. It works, but it takes 3x longer to make changes. Such a nice simple product made way more complicated than needed.

It is a very nice unit. It does the job of feeding our tank fish.

Koi Peeps! I got this for a 14 foot Koi pond for about 15 fish. While it did take me a moment to get through the programing, it then went smoothly. It handled both types of koi food easily. Here's the program in a nutshell. It will only deliver on the hour, so if you set it for 1-7 that's the first feeding at 7am. If you program for 4-21, that's the 4th feeding at 9pm. You can set it to dump for a count of 1 to (I think) 6. Six being quite a bit of food with one being just enough for me which I set to occur twice a day. I set it in a bench vice overnight with a bowl under the spout to see what came out. The folks prior to this that said the programming gave too much food might have not had this gen of timer, not sure, but there are multi levels and if you need less food than "1" you are either starving your fish, or don't have any fish. You may want to take a good look in your pond. (JK) When I go away, I intend to put a bag over the timer since I'm not sure about weatherproofing, but it since it unhooks so easily, seems easy enough to put it in a gallon zip-lock and not worry. For that reason (today) I'm rating it high. I also love that this does not use a battery and by accident I flipped off the switch for an hour and it came right back to the correct time when I put power back on. I set this in place just this week. I will let you know after a few weeks if I have a change of heart or dead fish... I think we will be fine. UPDATE - We just got back from a five day away and arrived at 4:55 so I ran back and saw the food drop at 5:00 as programed. Fish waiting to eat. Works great!
