Smith & Wesson mens Breach 2.0 8" Side Zip

These are the best boots I've ever owned for $70. Fit was perfect - I measured my foot with a ruler and used a size chart that said I was almost exactly a size 10½. At any shoe store, including Sears where I bought the Timberland work boots these replaced, I usually have to try 9½, 10, and 10½ to get the fit right. These are 10½ and have just enough room in the toe and are snug and comfy on my ankle. They also weigh half as much as my Timberlands. I've read some of the negative comments - this was my first ever online purchase of boots I've never tried on - and they all seem to be from people who really should have tried them on before buying them. My feet are perfectly average according to measurements, and these boots fit exactly as described for the foot size used for making shoes. I also haven't seen the peeling of the shiny cover on the toes that has been reported in some reviews. I have a desk job and just really love wearing boots, so I can't speak to their durability under heavier use, but I do wear them every day and regularly ride my bike to work with them on. It's been almost 2 months since I received them and there are scuffs on the toe, but no indication that the materials are faulty. Very comfortable, very light, fit perfectly, and look nice. The side zip is a feature I never again want to live without and the tiny velcro strap that goes over the zipper pull is super functional without being a fashion feature like with some other styles of boots with a side zipper. You can barely see it, but it does exactly what it's supposed to. I reserve 5 star ratings for only the products that far exceed my expectations. 3 stars, for me, is "right price, what I expected". I am so happy with this purchase and did not expect them to be better than my Timberlands, but at $70 I was ok with them being something I keep in my closet but don't wear every day. 5 stars because I wear them non-stop for all the reasons above and they look great, even in business attire.

I wear these almost everyday for work and am wearing them as i write this. I have had these about 3 weeks now and I am impressed with their comfort and quality. I have purchased several pairs of boots before that were either not comfortable for all day wear or just wore out way too soon. These S&W Breach 2.0s have withstood my tests so far and are no worse for wear. They took almost no time to "break-in" and fit exactly as I expected for my shoe size. I have also used them for motorcycle riding and ATV riding and although they are not meant for that, they have survived and with some water and a rag, still look like the day i bought them. The zipper closure is easy to use and does not unzip during daily use, but it is nice to not have to unlace them to take them off. The laces are very nice quality as well and do not appear cheap or flimsy. The tread pattern is also very nice for climbing or walking on rough or slippery surfaces. These are not Winter boots and as such are not insulated but adding a thick pair of socks does the trick. These would be great for anyone from Law Enforcement to the Outdoorsman to really anyone looking for a sturdy, reliable, and comfortable pair of every day boots.

I’ve had them for a year. I bought the boots on June 24, 2024. Good boots overall I’ve worn them every single day for the past year doing a lot of hiking and every day stuff and work boot pretty comfortable, although I added insoles. They are a bit heavier than I’m used to. And the souls are a bit slippery on wet surfaces, but good boots definitely good for the price.

This boot is nice and light which is a plus because I am on my feet all day. This is my second pair of Smith and Wesson boots. I have found they last about 2 years depending on the conditions you wear them in and how you take care of them. I took great care of mine so I had no problems with the leather or fabric material failing or the zipper. I spend my days on concrete and expanded metal which is like walking on a cheese grater and fine sandpaper to the bottom of your boots all day. After 2 years the bottom was completely gone past the point of being safe to walk on. I feel for the price these boots are an excellent deal and do not give you any problems. I would and will definitely buy them again. My only suggestion would be to remove the factory insert, and use another brand, and change those out every 6 to 8 months if you're on your feet all day like I am. Your back will thank you. Damn awesome boots. I get compliments all the time. I wear them all day every day and I walk alot have had them for a while they are standing alot of abuse great boots and very comfortable

These boots are like sneakers and slippers had a baby. They're super comfortable and very durable. This definitely won't be the last pair of Smith & Wesson boots that I buy.

Wore them in the army for a bit, amd been wearing them every night as a bouncer outside the bars. Keeping the feet dry, and warm (within reason, in canadian winter). Comfortable, professional looking and easy to put on with the zipper.

I actually bought the for a friend. He loves them so much just got myself a pair. Awesome!
