I am not an Android guy. Although I am always fascinated by Android devices and products. I have owned quite a few Chinese knock-offs and a few Xiaomi brand phones but nothing ever lasted. In retrospect, I didn’t give them much of a chance. I am an Apple guy. I love Mac and Apple products. What I don’t like? The price. What I do like? The quality. Apple has maintained quality products for some time. I’ve had many iPhones, iPads, Mac Pros, Macbook Pros, Macbooks, Mac minis, and iMacs. Our whole office here in Ghana is on mac. Why? Reliability and longevity. Ok, so I’ve got the fanboying out the way, on to the subject of this post. Why did you buy this thing? Well, simply put, on one of my trips back to the US earlier this year, my 13″ Macbook Pro died and I needed a replacement. I loved the 13″ size for going back and forth to the office and it was a good “beater” laptop. I have a loaded 16″ Macbook Pro that I prefer to keep in pristine shape for editing video and graphics. I figured let’s try the 12.4″ tablet and see if it can handle what I am throwing at it. I LOVE THIS TABLET. I am typing on it right now for this post. I was skeptical of having an Android tablet after having a few knock-offs and bad experiences with them, but this thing just keeps getting better. The only downside? No iMessaging or integration of Mac apps. I can live without that. In fact, it has me wondering if I should switch all of my note-taking, list-making, and stuff to Google apps. Speed This thing is fast. I’m not just talking fast, I’m talking lighting fast. I am constantly shocked at how responsive and quick everything is. Websites load fast, apps load without hesitation, and streaming is a joy. With the Qualcomm SM7225 Octa-Core processor, this thing delivers. My kids use iPad devices for streaming and sometimes school. My son has one of the later models of the regular iPad. This Samsung tab smokes it. I mean trail of fire smokes it. Screen The screen on this device is one of the best I’ve ever seen or used. I’m serious. I like it better than the iPads I own. It’s clear, and crisp and the 4K video looks incredible on it. Let’s put it this way, I’d rather watch Netflix on this tablet than on my 16″ Macbook Pro. Even when viewing bad or old footage on YouTube, I’ve found the quality is amazing. I’m not sure what they’re doing over there at Samsung but they better keep doing it. If you don’t believe me, go find one on display at a store. You’ll be a believer quickly. Even with fingerprints of my own and my kids, this thing is still crisp and clear. For what it’s worth, I do not put on-screen protectors on my devices. I don’t like the loss of clarity and function with screen protectors. Battery Life I have yet to have this thing die on me. Granted I don’t use it enough to kill the battery. Even after two days of not being on the charger, it was still at 60%. I couldn’t believe it. Time will tell how long that lasts but if it’s this good to start with I don’t feel worried about that at all. Maybe when I fly again back to the States I’ll test how long it lasts on a flight. Accessories With this tablet, I bought the Amazon suggested keyboard and case made by Fintie. For all intents and purposes, it’s not a bad case. Do I wish I had bought the Samsung keyboard and case? Sure. But the cost was a bit high and I didn’t think it was a deal-breaker on the tablet. The Fintie case works well enough and offers a few options for pen storage. I do like that the tablet came with a tablet pen which is a good selling point, even if you don’t use it. Conclusion All in all, this tablet is a winner. The screen alone is worth the price but as an added bonus the speed just feels unmatched. If I had to go back and choose again, I’d likely choose it again. If you’re an Apple person, like I am, this is a worthy device to add to your arsenal.

The display is vibrant and the size is perfect. This is my 5th or 6th Samsung tablet. Each tablet has worked great. I've never had a problem with any of them. I'm bummed that I ordered this October 14, 2023 for $509. Today Oct 29, 2023, it is $429. I saw a review that was unhappy that a phone line could not be connected to this tablet. My phone is synced to my tablet. I can use my tablet like a phone, making and receiving calls, and texting. However, the phone has be turned on on for this to work.

I like to watch Youtube in bed before I sleep. This tablet works great. I have a few iPads and an old 10 inch Samsung, and they all function well enough, but I decided I like the android system better, and I wanted the largest screen. The sound quality is good, but not so loud. I find that it gets more volume to the user if turned upside down in landscape mode. The downside is the controls are on the bottom. You also can cup your hands around the speakers to get more volume. But this does not matter much because I use over the ears Bluetooth headphones. BTW, the Bluetooth and Wifi connection is very good. It is well made, fast, large screen area, and thin. No problems with battery life or charging. I think it is worth the money.

This is my first drawing tablet. The performance is amazing and I absolutely love using it to both draw and game, but the battery irks me. It takes roughly two days to charge fully. I've had it since November, luckily I have a 10ft charger so I can still use it comfortably when I get tired of it taking literal days to charge fully. It has amazing performance game and drawing wise, lots of storage space, great quality, amazing pen, but terrible charging speed. Luckily it takes a a day or two, sometimes four days, for the battery to run low, but once it's low it takes forever to get back up. A downside to long battery life I suppose. As long as you have prolonged access to a charger, and don't mind the long wait for it to get back to 100%, this tablet is for you. It runs beautifully and the colors and graphics are amazing.

I paid for the 256gb version but received the 64gb. Amazon offered to exchange it but I don't like returning open items that will end up back on sale as 'new' especially after I'd spent so much time putting on protective gear, installing a new SD card, charging it from absolute 0% and 3 major updates. Anyways Amazon made it right by refunding the difference so I paid for what I received. Aside from that, it's a great tablet but a little bulky at 12.4" The battery lasts all day, which was a surprise considering the size and brightness of the screen. S-pen is great too but it just sticks to the back with a magnet; I wonder how long it'll be before it gets lost. Do yourself a favor and get the 256gb version, not for the extra storage but for the upgraded RAM from 4gb to 8gb. All in all, I'm a big Samsung fan and this tablet does not disappoint. Edit; to be fair, this tablet only seems bulky because of the case I got; I like the case, it seems very protective but it's so thick and heavy, it has a shoulder strap on it. Just the tablet is thinner then the S-pen it comes with. The magnet on that is pretty strong and the case has a sleeve for it. Using the S-pen really feels like pen to paper. I also got the S22 Ultra with a compact S-pen that fits in the phone but it's not nearly as nice as the S-pen with this tablet. I use the big pen on both now

Me llegó la de 8 Gg b en RAM y 256 en ROM excelente calidad. Terminados de lujos. Pantalla muy buena. En relación de la batería vs el tamaño de pantalla, tiene muy buena autonomía. Llegó con el S Pen. Funciona correctamente y se adiere a la parte posterior mediante imán. La recomiendo. Muy rápida. Su desempeño es muy bueno. Vale lo que pagas. Actualizaré más adelante. Apenas tengo 1 semana en uso

warranty in singapore did not cover. customer service said they only cover local set. samsung should not allow selling to foreign customer if they do not honor international warranty. this is a serious consideration for buyers. "It is not advisable to purchase an export set as the product is not eligible for any international warranty service." -support

Me sirve mucho para la escuela pero no tiene entrada usb ni auxiliar y si tuviera me facilitaría muchas cosas, es muy amplia y bonita, compren en oferta xd

Me gusta mucho, la uso mucho en mi trabajo ya que puedo leer muy bien diversos archivos, es de un buen tamaño. También me encanta que no pesa como laptop y puedo tomar anotaciones con su lápiz.
