Slow Close Wood Toilet Seat, Quick-Release (Round, Natural) | Angol Shiold Round Toilet Seat with Quietly Close, Easy to Install also Easy to Clean - desertcart.com

Review: Good looking, but weak hinge mechanisms. - Delivery was quick. Instructions very easy to follow, including QR video tutorial link. Product is sturdy and well-made. Both lids fall down slowly. Color, wood finish very nice. I highly recommend this product.)
Review: Great quality for low price - I got the natural to replace an oak seat after a neighbor in my apartment building complained she heard the toilet seat slamming shut through her pipes and even went so far as to buy me a soft close white seat instead of just telling me first. After politely thanking her for letting me know and to not wait so long if noise from my apartment bothered her I said I would buy my own, as I liked my wood seat, and the one she had bought was an easy return. I really love the look and weight of it, though some have posted it's not real wood but wood composite and it has that same weight as my old seat, and the natural oak look and feel of wood is pretty authentic to me...very easy to install. I at first arranged a return thinking it was an inch short and luckily went back to the desertcart site and saw I had missed the instruction to rotate the hinges...voila absolutely perfect fit! And the soft close works as advertised. Amazing! Don't hesitate it's a game changer to happy neighbors or late night family members who won't be woken up by a slam of a toilet lid. Who knew?

### ⭐ "Wood" sticker is peeling off after less than one day of gentile use.
*by R***A on May 14, 2026*

This appears to be a nice toilet seat, if you don't look too close. The "Wood" finish is nothing more than a sticker. Less than 12 hours after installation, the sticker is bubbling and starting to peel off. Less than 1 day of use! I would never buy this seat again. It's disappointing and definitely not worth $50/
