Dry shampoo that actually works
This stuff is so much better than aerosol dry shampoo. Smells decent, too.

Works wonderfully
I purchased this when my well needed repairs and I was without water. It cleans your hair and makes it seem fuller

Best dry shampoo I’ve ever used
My favorite! I really like the application method. It does not clump up and gives my hair more volume. It seems pricey but it lasts a long time so it turns out to be a good value

One of the better ones once I learned how to apply it.
The first time I used the Aveda Shampowder, I used entirely too much product and my hair was straight up gross. It didn't feel like hair, but it did have a lot of volume. I wound up watching a Youtube tutorial on how to apply it. Hair parted in small sections, the bottle squeezed lightly in the center, delivering a light "puff" of product. Applying it the correct way made a huge difference. I had shaken the bottle in globs all over sections of hair. I have tried quite a few powder dry shampoos trying to find my "holy grail" so I can stop using my favorite aerosol. This one comes close. The two things I don't like about it, the price and the scent. It's one of the more expensive dry shampoos tried, even though it does work and will probably last quite a while in powder form. The scent is light, but I am someone that suffers from scent triggered migraines and the scent of this is right on the edge of being a problem for me. With that being said, I probably will purchase again when I run out.

Holy Grail of Dry Shampoos
I do not usually write reviews at all. But I need everyone to know this is the absolute best dry shampoo you can buy. I have very thick hair and washing it is an entire ordeal, so I only do it about once a week. I need dry shampoo for the other days and I have tried nearly every single one on the market. I mean it, I have tried the expensive Oribe and K18, any brand a salon has ever used on my hair, cheap Bed Head, Batiste, or Not Your Mothers, you name it. But none of them come even close to Aveda. it smells good, blends well, and my hair doesn't look flat and greasy again in a few hours. It lasts a long time too so the price is totally worth it.

LOVE this dry shampoo - works so well, doesn't make your hair feel gross and has a pleasant light smell.

Not for me
Smells a little menthol, and I don’t like the smell. I thought it would smell fresh, but it smells to me more like medicine. I don’t like the way it puffs out onto my head in one area too much and other areas not enough. I have to close it and turn it upside down every 2-3 puffs because it stops working and I’m back to getting an area of too much powder in one spot again. On short hair, this shows. Overall, I don’t like the product which is disappointing given the price. I normally like Aveda products but this one will probably end up in the trash

Nice product, faulty applicator
I really like Aveda rosemary mint shampoo and other products and have used them for decades. This is why I tried this. However, the applicator is very touchy and you can end up with powder blobs. While I appreciate the use of a non-aerosol can, and I like the actual product, the dispenser is not-so-great. My solution is to squeeze some powder into my palm and take a makeup face powder brush to apply it to the needed areas. I’ll still buy it but they could improve the applicator.
