Lansinoh Lanolin Lip Balm, 4 Pack, 0.25 oz Each, Ultra-Moisturizing Lip Care with Natural Lanolin for Dry, Chapped Lips

This is by far the best lip balm I’ve ever used. I’ve tried plenty (vaseline, babylips, winkylux, etc), but most are either short-lasting, sticky, or simply ineffective. This one is made from lanolin (sheep wool fat), which is naturally water-repellent and incredibly long-lasting. It leaves lips deeply moisturized and soft. I originally used this balm while breastfeeding to heal cracked nipples, and it was nothing short of miraculous -within two days, my skin was completely healed. Now, I use it as a lip balm, and it’s just as impressive.

I love these!! What a little find, they’re on the smaller side but last so long. No fragrance and so silky smooth on the lips. I love that it is a multi pack so I have one in my purse, one at my desk at work, one in bedside table etc. so much cheaper than the alternatives but works so well!

Seriously great lip balm! Smooth, lasts a long time, protects from the cold weather! Pure lanolin with no added ingredients. Great value for a four pack. Moisturizing and nourishing! No petroleum or preservatives!

As a longtime Lanolips user, I was excited to try this Lansinoh Lanolin Lip Balm as a more affordable alternative—and I’m so glad I did! This balm has a lighter, less sticky texture compared to Lanolips, making it comfortable for daily wear without feeling heavy or greasy. The hydration is impressive, keeping my lips soft and moisturized for several hours before I feel the need to reapply. It’s clear and unpigmented, which makes it perfect as an everyday essential. Unlike thicker lanolin-based balms, this one doesn’t feel tacky or leave my lips sticky, meaning no stray hairs getting caught on a windy day! I also love the small, portable size—great for tossing into a bag or pocket. Plus, the pink stripe on the tube is a thoughtful touch that helps differentiate it from Lansinoh’s nipple cream tubes at a glance. Overall, this is an excellent, budget-friendly option for anyone who loves lanolin-based lip care but wants something a little lighter and easier to wear. I’ll definitely keep this in my daily rotation!

Great product.

I had gotten a tiny Lanolips sample and I was super intrigued and thought it worked great for my chapped lips. My issue was that I wanted to take whatever chapstick product I bought to work with me, and my chapstick often falls out of my pocket. I didn’t want to use one of my stick form chapsticks due to hot conditions and potential melting in cars or the sun, and I wanted a lanolin product because of my experience with that sample and a friends recommendation for lanolin products working better than beeswax products. So I settled on these. Lanolin product, but a couple for when I inevitably lose one or more, and way more economical than the name brand. They were smaller than I expected, smaller than a typical tube product, but I don’t mind and I find this lip balm to stay on my lips better than other products and keep my lips from getting so chapped while I’m at work (very long hours, lots of talking and sweating, oftentimes outside)

I recently started Accutane and for the first month and a half dry lips were my biggest and worst side effect. Before starting accutane i had relatively soft lips and I just used Vaseline lip therapy every night and every morning and the occasional lip gloss during the day. By my second month of accutane that wasn’t cutting it anymore and my lips were dry, cracked, and it hurt to open my mouth. I tried aquaphor lip repair and it helped but only while it was on my lips, it didn’t feel like it was healing anything. Then I found out about lanolin from a random Reddit thread and I’m not kidding when I say it’s a game changer. This is the first pure lanolin lip product I’ve ever tried and I’m so far loving it and I think everyone with dry accutane lips should try it. PROS: It feels super hydrating and moisturizing. It lasts really long on my lips- even longer than Vaseline and aquaphor. It’s glossy, like the absolute glossiest lip balm I’ve ever tried which I wasn’t expecting because often lip products are either glossy or moisturizing but rarely both so I was very pleasantly surprised. Even after it’s gone from my lips (which can take a few hours) my lips still feel soft and hydrated. CON: there’s only one and it doesnt really bother me but lanolin is sensitive to temperature so in the cold it can get stiff and/or whitish so i have to either warm up the tube in my hands or warm the product up on my lips so that it doesnt stay white and I can see that high intensity shine do it’s thing. Lanolin is my new favorite lip ingredient and using it together with Aquaphor healing ointment (not lip repair) has restored my lips to their former glory. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say they’re even better than they were pre-accutane. While this review is more about the wonders of lanolin than about this specific product, I got this brand because i saw it the most recommended. Anyway, I like the size of these, they’re small and very portable and a good value for money. It also came as a pack of 4 which I didn’t initially realize but it’s great because now I can keep them around the house and in my coat and jacket pockets for easy access.

This is affordable and generally a good product. It does moisturize and seems to last. A bit sticky. The problem is that after it has been opened for a while it develops a very foul smell. I noticed this in all of the tubes. So I would try to use it quickly or hold off on opening until needed. I'd like to find a similar product in stick form.
