Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow 2.25 OZ Brown

This was my first time using Jacquards, and I loved it. Its fully liquid, more dye than paint, but it goes on smooth and bright. One coat was enough to saturate my project, and it worked great with normal paint brushes. Its meant to stain, and it absolutely will, so don't get it on any clothes or furniture. I will also say that my bottles had some clumps in them after a day or two of use, and that it is probably best to let sections dry as you work because there was some bleeding/blending of colors when I painted wet next to wet. Overall, it looks great.

I wanted to paint a section of some stretchy poly/spandex leggings but I was reluctant to heat-set the Dye-na-flow color for fear of damaging the spandex. So I stretched the leggings over a section of plexiglass and added clips to the edges in order to secure the stretched spandex in place. I then used a stiff bristled artist brush (similar to what one would use for stenciling) and dipped into the fabric paint sparingly, spreading it across the tightly stretched fabric. The stiff bristles allowed me to add paint without totally saturating the fabric with too much paint. Anyway, once I finished painting the fabric, I left it stretched on the plexiglass and then set the plexi on the floor, leaning it up against the wall to make the setup as vertical as I could. I then got my little heater which has a blower, and set the heater in front of the stretched spandex about 12 inches away. I didn't want to overheat the spandex, and I thought the heater would be hot, yet gentler than an iron would be for heat setting the fabric paint. It worked like a charm. Not only did the heater dry the paint very quickly, it set the paint beautifully. I ran the leggings through the washing machine and there was zero loss of color. I am very pleased with this product. By the way, I considered using the Jacquard AirFix to fix the paint, but it was too expensive and hard to obtain quickly, hence the use of the relatively gentle heat of the heater to set the paint.

This fabric dye is excellent! Water-like consistency, so very easy to apply. I ordered black, and the pigment was just perfect - jet black. To make it permanent on your fabric, you need to use heat, otherwise be sure to mix it with a bit of Jacquard Airfix, to allow it to "seal" even without heat. And - dumb me - I spilled a bunch on my clothes, but immediately ran them through the wash, and the dye came right out. So, yes, needs heat and time to cure, but that makes this relatively forgiving for clumsy craftmakers like me.

Worst dye I've ever purchased! The bottle was leaking all over the package, and when I tried to dye clothing, it didnt work. I couldn't even read the label for instructions it was so gross with dye all over it, so I attempted to dye like Rite dye with hot water. Nothing. I highly recomnend NOT buying this! What a waste of money!

Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow is the only dye you should ever be using on your sneakers. Angelus suede dye *will* ruin your shoes. Dye-Na-Flow however will not. Dye-Na-Flow does exactly what you’d expect a dye to do and does it phenomenally. Highly recommend this for anyone needing to dye shoes that are suede, nubuck, or any similar material. Easy to apply with a paint brush or airbrush, doesn’t have much of a smell, and seems pretty stain resistant.

Good product. Applies easy and gives a nice even color tone and absorbs well. I use it on my wood carvings and wood turning. I wood turned a box and carved flowers into in. This dye did the trick for me.

Pretty sure this is my third time purchasing this product. I used it to change the color of a polyester tapestry. Absolutely love it. It works well if you mix the powder first, or, if you soak the fabric and sprinkle the powder on the wet fabric

il colore (brown) è bello ma troppo chiaro e anche se diluito 10% con l'acqua non si riesce a finire un pantalone (tg 56). Alla fine sono dovuto andare da un cinese e prendere due barattoli da 70 ml marrone scuro (la somma di questi due l'ho pagatai la metà di questo na-flow) ed ho avuto il risultato che spervo. Deluso.

An sich ein gutes Produkt. Allerdings weicht die Farbe so stark von der auf den Bilden ab, dass man es nicht mehr wirklich auf den Bildschirm schieben kann. Daher nur 4 von 5 Sternen

This Dye Na Flow Liquid Fabric paint acts like a die yet you can paint it on as well. Fantastic. Will be buying different colours in the future.
