I purchased this mat to use under electric utensils, like a frying pan and multicooker. It is perfect! Can't say enough good things about it. I have it turned upside down so it is smooth on top, easier to wipe off. It is such a nice material, rolls up really well, stays rolled without band, when unrolled it lays flat. It is large enough to protect my counter from grease splatters and, of course, from too much heat. Would purchase again.

While this is primarily marketed as a drying mat for dishes, it is also stated that it can alternatively be used as a trivet to protect surfaces from heat. And, that's the feature I was interested in. I had a 3.0 cu ft mini fridge/freezer combo unit at work that died. I replaced it with a 3.1 cut ft model by a different brand. While the new model was slightly larger than the previous one, the distribution of that space was slightly different. The new one was not as wide and was instead deeper from front-to-back. The loss of width was significant enough for me to be concerned about the microwave I had resting atop the fridge. Especially since this brand's exterior was smoother. Creating a concern that the microwave might slide off the fridge either during operation or just over time. I temporarily put some felt furniture pads on the bottom, which provided better traction but then I was concerned about whether that type of material might be a problem with heat from either unit. This silicone mat was the solution I found. It's almost exactly the same width as the new fridge ... and covered almost the entire top depth-wise ... but is plenty large enough for the microwave. The mat doesn't budge ... and neither does the microwave. And plus, because the 18" depth was more than the microwave's depth, I was able to push the microwave to the back edge and have several inches of space in the front to catch any spills or drips from food as I remove it from the microwave. A very simple and elegant solution to that problem as well.

I bought this one to match our granite counter tops, and for durability. Prior to this we were using a towel and it wasn't cutting it. This mat has ridges to catch the water droplets and allows better airflow to dry dishes faster. It's also flexible, easy to clean, and I love that it could even double as a hot pad. Great product!

It’s a good quality mat, however I think carefully think about the water reservoir it would leave because there is no way to drain the mat until all the dishes are off of it. I can be easily wiped but the water will accumulate.

Works great i just wish it didnt have the large white logo on the corner. Good slip resistance and easy to clean.

I've only had it a few days, but so far I'm happy with it. It's nice & large, but not too big for my limited counter space. I use it for drying my big items like pots, pans, cooking utensils and the glasses that don't fit in my small dish rack. I used it today for letting my salted eggplant slices rest on and sweat out their bitterness before breading them for dinner. And then when I'm done with it, I hang it up over my sink to dry (my husband put in a "clothesline" across the sink just for drying mats like this), and when it's dry, I roll it up and set it aside, so it's STILL not taking up my limited "real estate".

Really wanted to like this, was very excited about getting it. Was hoping it woulsnt mold up like those memory foam drying mat. But it does even more because the water just sits there. At least with this, I can clean the mold out easier than the foam mat. It would be smart if there was a draining edge and a bit of a tilt to it so excess water could drain into sink. It molds quick so you have to keep up with drying off the mat frequently. For example I wash dishes and then let dry overnight then put away next day and repeat again another day and after 2-4days it’s moldy. It’s just a lot of maintenance

One of the best silicone mats I have ordered and used. It is very thick and easy to clean. It holds ZERO stains and works as advertised.
