Levi's Men's 505 Regular Fit Jeans (Seasonal)

I really like these jeans. The waist is a little higher than my other Levi's (508s, 514s, etc.) but not too high for me, like a 550. They're not straight in the waist either; there's a bit of a curve in the front view. In other words, they taper a bit in the waist. That said, they run a bit small, perhaps because of the cut. I tend to wear a 38 in Levi's (and Gap, Lucky Brand, etc.), but most of the Levi's I've tried on recently - not just the 505s - are small enough that I need a 40 to feel comfortable. These fit more like a 38, so take it into account. The weight of the fabric is nice. It's a bit lighter than some of my other Levi's and that's not always a bad thing. They're still tailored and clean in terms of the fit, but they move nicely and are comfortable (again, because of the weight of the fabric). These are a very nice compromise between a slim and regular fit. The color in the photo is spot-on. It's a great color that I can wear with most of my shirts - works with browns and tans as well as blues. I would recommend them, for sure.

Levis 505 jeans are the only denim my son and husband will wear. I appreciate their high quality fabric in thickness, minimal shrinkage and desired appearance. Their deep pockets and wrinkle resistance are a bonus.

I ordered 3 pairs of levi's int he same size (30x30) so I could have a bit of variety but mostly so I could learn which cut worked best. Here is the comparison of them all. I will start with all had a good length in terms of where they fall on my shoes. There was more variety in the width / tightness. 505 (straight): A looser fit, comfortable, seems to stretch out pretty quick with wear. So far this is the only of the 3 pairs which I commonly need a belt to keep up. It is my wife's least favorite in terms of the cut / look, I think mostly because she thinks they are to loose / to big, I think when I first got them or right after they shrink a bit from a wash she likes them more. Currently thought she says this is her least favorite of the three. 511 (slim): These are a slim fit as the style claims, but they aren't to tight and seem to have some stretch to them when you move around. They feel a bit to tight the very first day out of the wash, but by the second they are about perfect. They are probably my favorite of the bunch, in terms of look, feel, and comfort. They are tight enough to not look baggy/loose, but not so tight to be uncomfortable or give me a silly skinny jean look. They are my wife's favorite in terms of the look as well. 527 (low rise boot gen 7): These were my least favorite or the group. They were uncomfortably tight, when sitting I am constantly pulling, and 'adjusting' to try to sit comfortably. I have pulled on them and wear them a bit extra long trying to stretch them out. They are still wearable, but I really only put them on if my other two pairs are dirty. My wife thinks they are the second best in terms of look, putting them in the not to loose, seems to look pretty good on me middle of the road. Obviously since they don't feel good and are to restricting for movement, etc I give them last place. I wouldn't buy this style again.

Very nice lightweight jeans. Very nice stretch. Seem to be wearing very well. My hubby wears them for work and dressing up and says they are very comfortable.

Like the 505 cut and fit

My husband has purchased these jeans previously whilst in the States. We do not usually order clothes on line as you cannot be sure of the fit or quality. However, the 505’s fit exactly as hoped. The transaction was simple and the delivery time excellent. Would order these again.

I've tried other brands, but Levis can't be beaten. This style is like the 501 but with a zipper instead of button fly. The best thing about Levi? The fact that you can always order the same style in your size and be confident that it will fit.
