Nice light box
Little confused why the description talks about that it’s a 3 prong plug when it’s 5. Thankfully I have an adapter. Easy to use. Nice quality

Solid dimmer
This is a solid choice for a single-channel dimmer. I've had mine for a few months at this point and have had to do a few things to make it work for me, but I have had no problem since I bought it.To add a standard Altman-style C clamp, I had to modify the 1/2"-13 bolt so that it would fit in the bolt channel with the pictured eye nut, as the hex head was a bit too wide.To convert a 5-pin XLR to a 3-pin XLR for DMX, simply buy or make a 5-pin to 3-pin XLR adapter. There are numerous listed on Amazon, and it's just a minor inconvenience at worst for those who would use this with budget gear. Coming from a theatre background, I appreciate that it's 5-pin.Overall, a great DMX dimmer that has served me well when I've needed it.(Edit) After a few years of use, I've decided to modify another bolt to hang a theatre light from the bottom of the dimmer. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this without any safety cables, it seems strong enough to handle a 15lb fixture underneath it.

The description and photos of this product are inaccurate. The description, specs, and photos all state or show that this product features 3-pin DMX input and output, but it does not (it's 5-pin).
