PROTONE 2" or 1" olympic barbell clips - locking clamp collars with quick release clips 5cm or 2.5cm for weight lifting

These barbell clips are excellent. They surpass my previous collars, which failed to secure the weights properly and often caused noise during workouts. I was so impressed with these clips that I have ordered more, and I highly recommend them to others. They provide reliable and quiet performance, ensuring a hassle-free lifting experience.

I have bought 3 sets of these clamps now and have been happy with all of them. The clamps are well made and sturdy, they don't feel like they are going to break when clamping them down or after repetitive clamping/unclamping. I have used these on smooth and threaded bars and I've not had any issues with them slipping on either because of the rubber pads inside of the clamp.I may buy more of these for some other bars I have arriving soon, very happy with what I have so far.

The clips stop my slim metal plates sliding about or falling off the olympic bar when doing squats, deadlifts etc. The are easy to use and are a good fit. I had tried the metal spring clamps but they were unable to hold the plates in place and allowed them to move. So far this hasn't happened with these, so I am pleased with my purchase.

Originally I used these on spin lock handles, it worked on light weights but struggled with heavier weight. I did expect this would happen, the thread gaps hampered the grip effect. If I used these on my old (OLD) weights they probably would have been a lot more effective.Since then I've purchased clip handles (no thread) and they've been perfect, even with a decent weight on them.I do recommend these clips, or anything else like these.

Bought 4 of these for my Olympic dumbells a while back. Thought I would write a review because they are such a great product. You can buy much more expensive ones on here but I wouldn’t bother. They look and feel like they cost much more and even when using heavy weights they stay in place with no movement. I was sceptical at the price but they still work as well as the day they arrived. If your looking for collars these are a must have bargain buy.

These are great if you are smart enough to use them as clearly intended. Use them on the bar for squats, chest press, barbell military press, bent over row, and deadlifts for as easy and fast transitioning of plates between sets and they are just fine. Of course these clips are not made with the intention of supporting heavy weight against gravity.. Don't use them for skull crushers and you're otherwise golden! Clever and innovative little product!

Great value for money these collars and very quick and easy to use and release. My only reason for 4/5* is that after dropping barbells and a bit of abuse the cuffs move a couple of mm or so after a while, something a more expensive collar wouldn't do, however, these usually are also harder to get on off quickly and less quick release in their nature as well as about 4 times the price! Definitely would recommend these for their price!

They fit both of my olympic bars perfectly and are so much easier to get on and off compared to standard clips. These are very sturdy and I am not gentle with them. I have been using them for a few months now and they seem like they will last forever.
