Superb and strong
Fab machine, far better then the Artisan Kitchenaid I had.

Lovely machine
Capable, easy to use. I take care not to overload it. Mix dry powders at very low speed for a long time. Wet mixes tend to ball up. Possible to 'walk' at high speeds and high loads.

Expensive but very good
It is expensive but is very high quality. I have had cheap mixers in the past which just do not mix everything very well. This mixes very well.

Great for breadmaking
I bought this as a birthday present for my elderly mum. She makes her own bread and was using a cheap stand mixer to knead the bread dough but it didnt last long before broke. This device is on a different level completely. Its well made and very sturdy. It hardly moves around when its kneading dough. Shes had this sometime now and shes very pleased with iit

Cannot remove the hook

Not tried it yet, but just wanted to point out that the description is advertising it as 1400W where it is actually 1200W. Does appear to be what I am looking for though. I'm not an everyday baker, so the 5L capacity will be good for my abilities. Looks really nice quality too. Attachments are easy to change over.

Ideal
What an excellent product. Ive found my love of baking again. It’s a decent size machine and a lovely colour. The splash guard is a welcome extra. The weight function is fabulous and a great time saver. Mixers the ingredients very well. Small downside is the bowl doesn’t have a handle.

An Icon
Although this was brought as a gift for our Daughter to chef is still an icon .The design has not fundamentally changed for many years . I had one when I started to train as a chef fifty years ago ! (we still have it and it is still running ). It may be large and requires a reasonable amount of kitchen realestate but it can replace quite a few other appliances that clutter the workspace . It is well worth the money if you are serious about cooking . I shall report back to this review if the quality is not as expected over time
