Update: I was able to exchange this with no issues, and the replacement was much better. It's still holding up years later. I could tell this helmet had quality control issues as soon as I removed it from the box. Multiple scratches and scuffs. Initially could forgive those and was just excited to finally have a helmet of one of my favorite superheroes, but when I went to put it on, the extending mechanism broke and it won't retract. I definitely believe this helmet was rushed out to capitalize on the success of NWH. Anyone who had it pre-ordered would know the helmet was originally slated to arrive in March and it was a surprise when it showed up three months early. I haven't had any issues with Marvel Legends stuff before, which is why I believe this was rushed out.

I got this for my friend for Christmas and he ended up loving it, the helmet is really cool and it looks even better lit up. Totally worth the money if you like to collect stuff.

They ain't kidding when they say small. All the other marvel helmets I can fit into, this one isn't even close. Maybe it is just meant for kids. Grandson will love it. Overall, it is a pretty slick helmet for display. Happy with it. There is scuff or two on it. A wear mark where I assume the ear section rubbed against the box when being shipped around.

This thing is great. Well crafted and just really cool. The eyes light up six different ways and easy to switch in between them. Fits me well, but I’m not a large man. Now a warning, if you have a large head. I.E. you are a big man, last snap on your hat, 200+lbs, this will not fit you. Remember this was made with kids in mind. Great for the Spidey collection.

4 stars because: I had to replace the 1st one i received due to light scratches. The 2nd one arrived scratched as well. For the price I'd expect NO scratches. It's still cool af tho so 4 stars (
