Awesome guide to herbs for the newbie and oldie
I found this book at Five Below and fell in love with the beautiful vintage feel of all 51 illustrations of the herbs/flowers included in the book. Each drawing has different parts of the plant included, like roots, leaves, flowers, cross sections of the flowers, seedlings, and even seeds. I’m so excited about this book! I’m going to use this guide to sow a medicinal garden from seed and thanks to the book I’ll have lots of great recipes/ideas for using all the plants! Love this book! Highly recommend!

Amazing reference and gift
I received this as a gift and love it! Contains 51 herbs with info on how to grow, use, and cook with each herb. It also has interesting historical facts and beautiful drawings. Would be a great gift for any gardener.

I was going to buy this because the illustrations are gorgeous and good information. However, I read it before I bought it and 1/3 of the recipes are for cocktails- not for me.
