Firm No!
Do not. Yes looks and sounds and fits very good when/if it works at all. All kinds of bugs and issues from the get go. Auto restarts, black screen, disconnecting carplay (ran a direct usb cable to phone and still issues) Never sure if it’s gonna work today or not looking for alternatives. USB connection works 50% of the time and u gotta kill all your apps for it to even catch on. Look for something wireless.

Great stereo replacement for Jeep
I Installed this unit to replace the Factory stereo that stopped working. I went with it rather than a new factory or refurbished one because it has Apple Play, but still has Sirius/XM, hands-free, and other OEM functions. Only drawback is no dedicated GPS system, you have to use Maps or Google maps on your phone, but it does display on the unit's screen. Installation was a little complicated for someone with limited experience installing car stereos, but the instructions were spot on, and the unit allows you to use all of the factory stereo steering wheel controls. A little pricey, but in the end well worth it!

Why didn't Jeep add this as an option from the factory.
I installed this in about two hours. It would have been much shorter if I had not forgotten to plug in some of the connects before buttoning up the dash. Prior to installation I painted the mounting brackets to match my all black interior, which made the install look great. I love that I now have access to my Apple CarPlay. I also installed a wireless CarPlay adaptor that makes the entire system work seamlessly along with a very clean look. In addition to it looking great is also has great sound quality. The ability to monitor the engine systems from the deck is a bonus. Its ready for some long road trips.

Paid up for this "convenient" kit. Now I'm doing the job twice!
I'm a life long Alpine fan. Bought this kit, the Alpine specific JK speakers, and the Alpine 4 channel power pack a few days before I bought the Jeep. Took delivery of the jeep yesterday and planned to install over the weekend. Tore the dash apart and took out the factory amp, radio, speakers, etc. Alpine provides the idatalink Maestro with this kit which requires programming with your computer. The first step in the programming is to enter the Alpine's serial number. Upon entry the software returns invalid serial number. The instructions say if the software returns "invalid serial number" to call ADS (idatalink) for help. Well you guessed it- They're closed on the weekends. I spent the rest of today reinstalling the factory stuff just so I can drive my new Jeep. Maybe it's idatalink that didn't load the serial numbers or maybe it's Alpine's fault. If Alpine is going to package their stuff with idatalink it is incumbent on them to have their serial numbers registered with them before shipping. Other manufactures get this right. You're overpaying a few hundred dollars over buying the same stuff separately for the convenience of installation. Too bad it didn't work.

Great while it lasted
The sound and features are amazing on this unit. Paid for professional installation. Two stars because I purchased it in July of 2022 and the unit just went dead without reason about 3 weeks ago. This is definitely not a cheap unit so if you do buy it, I 100% recommend you get the extended warranty. As it stands now, I’m out the $1000 + $300 I paid for installation.

Does include antenna with kit, this no need to buy additional part.
Great product and looks better than factory.

Update the Maestro!
Excellent system and sounds better than the upgraded factory Alpine. However, make sure when you flash the maestro module you make sure it is at the latest version. Mine was at version 4.7 and even though I flashed it The version still needed to be updated to 5.0. If you don’t update it we will have the front speakers dropping out from time to time.
