Simply excellent. Download the recipes provided in this product listing. We don't play around with the different settings as we always make gluten free waffles with extra eggs for more protein content. It is easy to clean and use. I would not use anything but a soft silicon spatula -- no metal to keep the non-stick coating in perfect like-new condition. Do not use hard cleaners. Gently clean with soapy water once it has cooled down. Just a perfect way to make our own nutritious waffles rather than buying them or going out to brunch places. Read the instructions - anyone who tells you this unit is not good is not doing it right.

It sucks. It doesn't make waffles, it makes you ruin your morning. You're a waffle expert. You've mastered probably 10 different waffle makers. You buy this thing. You make the first batch of waffles and you're already disappointed. You start them when it switches to ready status, and it never switches to cook. You let them cook anyway, until they stop steaming. They are fine. It beeps shortly later, and the status says ready. You put in the second batch of batter. It does it again, but instead of staying on ready, it displays E for error and constantly beeps at you. Your waffle batter is ruined, and so is your day. You come back to it two months later, and *the same thing happens to you.* Don't buy this thing.

Makes really nice thick waffles, crispy on the outside and soft inside. They seem to be a little lighter in color on the bottom, but not enough to matter. It makes 4 at a time so I can use all of my batter to make just 2 batches. Should probably cost less, but as long as it lasts for years it will be worth it. The waffles I make have butter and sour cream in them, so they have enough fat that I don't need to oil the plates. I also fold in the beaten egg whites so the waffles are nice and fluffy.

Really nice waffle maker, works great, only complaint is it will pop a normal GFCI outlet, which is basically every outlet in my kitchen.

Produces really good Belgian sized waffles and the removeable grates that are dishwasher safe is a real plus. On the downside, The timer can be troublesome. If you add a second batch right after the first is done, you get an error code that will not go away until it cools off and a really big mess to clean up. Also, adding pecans or other fruit really throws the electronic timer off. Sigh... The timer on this unit really needs better programming.

I bought this because of the removable plates that make it easier to clean. However, getting the plates in and out is difficult. The fancy digital controls are not intuitive and over engineered. A simple on/off with an accurate notification of when the waffle maker is heated and ready for batter, then when the waffle is done would be better. And it beeps continuously so forget enjoying your coffee while waiting on your waffle. I wish All Clad would allow me to trade this for the less expensive manual version but no luck with customer service.

This waffle maker is super easy to clean and makes the best waffles. The steam from the back helps generate the most fluffy waffles on the inside yet nice and crisp on the outside. So glad I got this for my husband as a gift!

Makes fantastic waffles, easy to clean and store. Can't complain.
