Like everyone else who works remotely at times, I end up with countless windows open and find it difficult to do my work on one small 14" laptop screen (not to mention aging and my eyes). I got this because I was traveling and didn't want to take the whole week for vacation. I got EXACTLY what I wanted out of this product. Let me cover the good and the things you should know. All the cords you need to hook this monitor up come with it. I would love to connect it to my computer via USB4 port, but my I use my USB4 port to charge my computer when I travel because the charger is so light and small. So I fell back on the HDMI cord. Came in the package. Boom! Power supply was also included. I connected mine to my computer's USB 3.0 port and ran the USB-C cable into the monitor. Power on! Lots bad has been said about the case. I found it very functional. It may not have your ideal viewing angle, but it worked fine for me using the case. It wouldn't fail to capsize in the event of a 7.0 earthquake, but it worked fine in my week-long use. So what do I not like? Well, the monitor is not a high-end one with mind-numbing resolution and clarity. It's good. Plenty good for work on websites, documents, spreadsheets and the like, but if I were a traveling videographer or photographer, I'd want something more high end. For me? Worked fine. So for the price I paid, I can't be more satisfied. Sure, I'd love one that was larger, but this one fits in my laptop bag no problem. I'd love one with a built-in battery so I wouldn't have to plug in the bulky HDMI cord. I'd love a better case/stand. But really, this is a solid device, and if you shop for bargains, you're going to have to accept some compromises. With that in mind, I can wholeheartedly recommend this monitor to anyone needing some visual real estate for work, especially while traveling. It's thin, light, functional and it won't break the bank. That's a lot of winning for such a small screen.

I wanted a lightweight portable screen to use as secondary monitor for my Microsoft Surface when meeting clients at my office or their home. I use my Surface a lot during appointments and having to spin it around to show clients the Surface screen is a pain. We have smart TV's at the office too but this is easier. This can be setup in seconds and is powered by the Surface via the USB-C cable. ClIents can see what I'm doing and can comment on the fly. Very efficient use of my time. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money because I wasn't sure if it would accomplish what I envisioned. The price was right so gave it a go. Since then, I have purchased a wireless TX/RX adapter set for it as well as for other uses. This configuration requires that the RX adapter be connected to the mini-HDMI on the portable screen (has 2 USB-C and 1 mini-HDMI) and external power. You can use the supplied power cord but I'm using an external battery pack for a phone to stay completely wireless. Still streamlining the connections but got it initially setup in less than 5 minutes. I may get a better one in the future with touchscreen and better resolution. This one has 1000:1 but is good for now. Touchscreen may be good for signatures but still researching this.

The monitor works great. Keep in mind that for its size and price the speakers work great, and the resolution is surprisingly good. On the note of the speakers, they equate to about 60% of my laptop. It may not be enough to jam out to but if you need functioning sound, they absolutely get the job done. It can be powered through a wired charging cord (that it comes with) or through the device it's receiving input from (also with a cord that is provided). My only noticeable draw back so far, is in the instructions it says that if you have IOS 15 or above you can display from your iphone without the need of an additional input adaptor. Sadly, that is not the case but it's not a pricey fix. To finish on a positive note, the portability of the monitor is great, it comes with its own magnetic covering case that doubles as a set up stand. Do keep in mind that it will protect against abrasions while enveloped in the soft case. I cannot vouch for the shock absorption and do recommend keeping it from falls or drops, at the end of the day it is a monitor. All and All, it is definitely worth the buy.

I rarely ever give anything 5 starts but this is one product that truly deserves it. I researched second screens for my laptop for months before I came across this product. I travel a lot for work and really needed to have a second screen to travel with me. All the other products out there were expensive, had lots of cords, and/or attached to your laptop and were heavy. All the things I did not want. I was skeptical about this product because it was so inexpensive but it is an amazing product for its value. It was so easy to use and to set up. All I had to do was take it out of the box, plug the cord into the monitor and then into my Mac book. That is it! It it light weight and come with a very nice cover case that also serves as a stand and you can set next to your laptop not on it. The quality of the screen is great you just need to do some minor adjustments. I have already recommended this product to many of my professional friends who also travel and they have also been impressed with this product. The monitor is powered through you laptop so watch your power level. Highly recommend.

Update 7/21/22: Still 5 stars. Working perfectly and durable. Carry it around in my pack with 2 PCs (work and personal). Packaging this comes in is so nice and durable that I hated to throw it out - but did, yesterday. The box almost seemed like I should use it for something but resisting my hoarding temptations, got rid of it. Someone mentioned it in a review as being "fragile". I do not get that feeling but I suppose if you damaged it, then you might think that. But they still gave it 5-stars, anyway. The tech still seems like magic that video and power can both go in that usb-c cable (if you have a video capable USB-C port which you likely do not, if not having a newer and better computer but still great with the provided HDMI mini connector). ------ I took this out of the box and plugged it into my work PC with the USB-C to USB-C connector that came with the monitor. It came right to life perfectly. That's it - connected with one cable and it was on. The settings to extend the monitor, duplicate the screen, etc. worked exactly like any second monitor and was super simple (these are settings on your computer - not the monitor). There is sound from a built in speaker which might work if you need sound in a pinch but ANY computer or phone speakers will be much better (my phone speakers blow this monitors speakers away). With my older but still pretty modern Acer notebook the USB-C is not apparently the newest and will only provide power and will not feed the video like my newer Dell work notebook. It still works well, however, by using the USB-C for power and the provided HDMI to mini-HDMI connector. So it just needed 2 cables instead of 1 and it worked perfectly (have it on right this second). It is amazing (to me, anyway) how well this works with just power from the USB-C cable. The quality of the display seems comparable to my desktop external monitor or any screen on a notebook computer. The cover/stand took me a minute to figure out but it is very simple. Just took a minute to see how they meant for it to work but then, super simple. I hope the screen is durable as I plan to carry it around in my backpack with my 2 PCs when I work outside the house.

It was great while it lasted. No complaints before it stopped working, connected to my laptop with ease and helped with productivity. Purchased in 2022. About 4 weeks ago in February 2026, I plugged in my laptop like usual, looked like it was connecting, but said there was no signal and it was powering down. I connect my laptop to this monitor and a second one when I connect to this monitor, the second monitor fills the entire screen, when I unplug from this model of monitor my second monitor does not fill up the whole screen so that way, I know whether this monitor is plugged in or not Even though this monitor says that there’s no signal my second monitor is still on the full screen and I can even move documents over to the first monitor so this monitor acts like it’s working, but I’m not seeing anything on screen. I tried a different power cord that didn’t work. I went back to my power cord that came with this monitor. The screen worked for about five hours one day and that was it for the past four weeks.

This was purchased for my daughter but I can't comment on this monitor, when my daughter unpacked it she found that the screen was cracked.
