MAM Sportive Linerlock, One Size

This is an interesting folding knife. It is lightweight because all the metal on it is thin and the wood is low density. The workmanship is excellent. The steel is high quality and very tough. Even though the blade is thinner than most typical pocket knives, it is very stiff. I have no complaints regarding the sharpness or durability either. The locking tab is tiny for my large thumb, but it is big enough that I can find it in the dark and close the knife with no problem. I went a little haywire finding signature folding blades from different countries and this definitely deserves to be a blade that Portugal should be proud of. If they made this in a bunch of different sizes there is no reason it wouldn't be as well respected as Opinel

Small, thin, light and functional, this makes a terrific "gentleman's knife." The liner lock is opposite of what I am accustomed to, but it's not a bit difficult to adjust. Very nice quality and nicely made.

I find myself slipping this knife into my summer shorts pocket the most often. The knife blade is thin and razor sharp. The locking mechanism works well. Good value at this price point.

I like inexpensive but good things. I bought this on a whim, I like knives that are compact and light but have functional slicing blades and I happened across this one. Previously I’ve had various opinels and love them, but thought I would try something different. This is, so far, every bit as good as the opinel. Comes with a razor honed edge, it’s light and compact and doesn’t weigh your pocket down. It’s great for slicing fruit, salami, cheese etc. does well for general cutting, twine and the like. I like it a lot.

Good knife for pocket or purse, would buy again and again. Simple to use ,sharp ,good blade design, lock helps keep your fingers safe.

Too small, poorly constructed compared to classic Opinel
