The Best
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Cubitron 3M Xtract Net Disc 710W, 5 in, 12 Piece Multi-Pack Hook and Loop Sanding Discs, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! These sanding discs have completely changed the way I approach sanding tasks, and they have exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, the assortment of grades in this pack is incredibly convenient. With options ranging from 80 to 320 grit, I found the perfect disc for every project I tackled. Whether I needed to remove rough material quickly or achieve a smooth, polished finish, these discs had me covered. One of the standout features of the Cubitron Xtract Net Discs is their virtually dust-free design. Sanding has always been a messy task, but with these discs, I experienced a noticeable reduction in dust and debris. The Xtract Net technology is simply brilliant – it effectively captures and contains dust, keeping the work area cleaner and healthier. I no longer had to worry about harmful dust particles floating around, making my sanding projects not only more efficient but also safer. The hook and loop attachment system is another major plus. It makes changing discs a breeze, saving me time and effort. The discs held up exceptionally well during extended use, maintaining their effectiveness without tearing or clogging. I was also impressed with the durability of these discs. Even after several hours of continuous sanding on various surfaces, they showed minimal signs of wear and continued to deliver consistent results. This not only saved me money in the long run but also gave me confidence in their longevity. Overall, I can't recommend the Cubitron 3M Xtract Net Disc 710W, 5 in, 12 Piece Multi-Pack Hook and Loop Sanding Discs enough. They are a game-changer in the world of sanding, providing exceptional performance, versatility, and dust control. Whether you're a professional craftsman or a DIY enthusiast, investing in these sanding discs will undoubtedly enhance the quality of your work and make your sanding tasks much more enjoyable. In my book, they deserve a well-deserved five-star rating!

Long lasting, good cutting, don't clog up. Best sanding disks ive used
I have no affiliation with 3m. Which i think is important to note before i gush about this product. This is only the 2nd time ive used these. I am not a professional wood worker. Just hobbies and DIY use. Last time I was removing 80s lacquer from door frames and they blew me away with how much longer they lasted and continued to remove material but it wasn't really a high finish job. I was sanding up a little antique box for my wife and used a variety of disks from Diablo some generic bulk pads and some regular 3m disks. I got down to a 220 grit 3m pad and thought I didnt have a higher grit until I found these in my box. I just finished using 3 different brand and type of pads so I got a very direct comparison and these are worlds above the others. No compromise needed. The high grit pads were removing material at a way higher rate than a lower grit Diablo pad. The finish is amazing. It feels like glass and they last forever without clogging up. Its better than other pads, in all metrics. The only downside is could possibly see is that if you don't want your high grit pad to remove material like working with thin veneers but otherwise these are awesome. I legit don't understand how a 320 grit pad is removing material like a 150 but giving a 400+ grit finish. Its truly wild. Plus its still got life in it!! Ive got a ton of sanding disks kicking around but ill pretty much use those for rough sand projects until they're gone and won't buy anything except these in the future. This variety pack with 2 pads of each grit is enough to get you through anything except the biggest project. Its sounds exaggerated but they easily last 5-10 times as long as the others and still feel like they are cutting well throughout.

Using these from now on
I recently fully resurfaced my butcher block countertops with these and I am *impressed*. I used a good Bosch orbital palm sander with a shop vac attached to the back and they worked well. They did gum up and lose performance pretty quick at the beginning when taking off the top layers of wood, but those were full of oil and coated with wax, so it was bound to happen. Rinsing with high pressure hot water, a bit of agitation by hand, and then letting *fully* dry (I actually tossed them in the oven at 150F) got the gummy wax and oil wood powder out and they were ready to go again. After hours of sanding the entire kitchen's worth of countertops and island cart, I would say that the majority of the discs still have some life left. Performance when they're clean and the surface is clean is really incredible. Really smooth and even, and entirely dust free when used with a shop vac attached to the sander. They work fast and seem to do a better job in less passes and with less pressure than conventional discs I've used. These are my new go-tos, count me as very impressed.

Saving valuable time
Awesome sandpaper. Works better and lasts longer then most brands and with the amount of time sanding takes this helps speed the process up while also delivering a superior finish at a great value

Believe the hype!
I have seen several articles on this 3M Cubitron II abrasive disc claiming that it cuts better and lasts longer than the standard discs. I have used many different types of disc abrasives before and am always looking for products that perform better than the conventional products. This product sounded too good to be true. To try it out, I purchased the Multi Pack with the different grits. I am currently reusing some old solid core doors that have been finished with some thick coats of varnish that needed to be removed. I was able to remove the coating on an entire door with just one of the 80+ pads. Typically this job would have required at least 6 or more conventional discs because they tend to load up and stop cutting. This one pad easily completed the first door and is still cutting. The claim that the disc allows the dust collection system to work better thus providing a greatly reduced dust issue was certainly true in my case. These are the best abrasive discs that I have ever used and I will not be purchasing anymore of the old style conventional discs.

Best sanding discs on the market
There is no better hook and loop disc on the market. It lasts a long time and dust extraction is incredible. I have switched to these exclusively and am so thankful that I have come across these simply the best. If you are trying to decide whether or not to purchase just do it one time. You will be convinced to never go back to the old discs.

Buy them, buy them now
I have been hearing hype about these for awhile, finally decided to grab this pack so I could see what they're actually like before spending too much. I absolutely couldn't believe the difference these make. Dust collection, speed, finish, and longevity are all in a different class from normal papers I used. The only draw back is that they wear your hook and loop pads pretty fast. But that's a cheap and easy fix, buy pad savers for your sander. You will not regret this purchase.

No dust from sanding
When hooked to shop van, the sander produced little to no drywall dust. Completely worked, great quality product!

Premium Abrasive Discs - Excellent Performance But Pricey
I've been using these 3M Xtract Cubitron II net discs for various workshop projects, and they're genuinely impressive bits of kit - though you do pay for the quality. The net design is brilliant for dust extraction. If you've got a proper vacuum setup, these work an absolute treat - minimal clogging, and they last considerably longer than standard paper discs. The Cubitron II abrasive cuts aggressively and consistently, which means you're not standing there for ages working through grits. The multi-pack with various grits (80+ through to 320+) is handy - covers you from initial stock removal right through to finer finishing work. The 127mm size fits most random orbital sanders without any bother. Hook and loop backing holds securely, and the discs don't tear or fall apart even when you're working them fairly hard. Now, the elephant in the room: the price. These aren't cheap. You're paying 3M premium prices, and if you're just doing occasional DIY or hobby work, you might find cheaper alternatives perfectly adequate. But if you're doing regular sanding work and want discs that cut efficiently and last, these justify the cost through performance and longevity. They're particularly good on wood and painted surfaces. Less experience with them on metal, but for woodworking they're top-notch. If you've got the budget and do serious amounts of sanding, these are worth it. For occasional use, might be overkill. Recommended for professionals and serious hobbyists.
