Fantastic product

Worst Experience with Philips Water Filter I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with the Philips water filter I purchased just four months ago. The product stopped working far too soon, and I had to send it in for service two months back. Since then, I haven’t received a single update about the product or the repair status. I’ve emailed multiple times and called customer support repeatedly, but no one has responded or provided any clear information. The lack of communication and responsibility from Philips is very frustrating. I never expected such poor service from a reputed brand. Right now, I’m left without the product I paid for and without any idea if or when it will be returned. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

Got this to replace a Brita filter jug that I was using. The Brita worked well but it was annoying to take out and put back every time you needed a drink so I thought I’d try this instead. It fits my fridge door well, but my fridge shelf is curved so it has to be in the middle. Installing the filter was just a bit finicky but it’s alright. The pour is quite slow though, I feel like taking out the Brita jug and putting it back was faster, but it wins for laziness. Can’t complain, keeping the jug for everyday filtered water and this in the fridge for cold water.

The Philips Instant Water Filter is genius. I think it is meant for a fridge door, but it has solved a problem I was having perfectly. I have a Games Room and use a Breville One Cup for hot drinks. But the water reservoir on the Breville empties really quickly. I need to use filtered water because the water in my part of the country is harder than coffin nails. The Philips solves the problem beautifully, giving me a big water reservoir and! filtered water. The fact that it is powered is great, as you don't need to position it hanging off the edge of a table. The carry handle is comfortable to use and the battery charge lasts about 7 refills to 'low battery' and 10 refills to 'empty battery'. The water droplet symbol on the touch-sensitive switch changes from blue to purple for low battery and red for recharge required. It takes about three hours to recharge from a 1 amp usb socket. The only thing I dislike is the fact that the switch icon is hard to see, being white on a silver background, but that is a terrible nit-pick on an otherwise brilliant device. Highly recommended.

I’ve had this water filter for a little over a year now and it’s really good. Water tastes clean and fresh and easy to store in the fridge. Filters can be a little expensive but you get about 30 days out of each filter which I think is good and the charge lasts a long time

Pros -Good looking piece on the worktop -Quality feels solid and durable - water taste good -Water tank big enough for the whole family for the whole day without refill in summer days - dispensing works at a light touch Cons - the spout is so short, you have to be really careful and press the cups tightly against the tank body when dispensing - really difficult to fill up kettles or coffee machine tanks as the dispenser is not tall enough to fit these right under neath the spout and plus the short spout, I struggle to fill 1/3 full of kettle... Had to use a cup as an intermediary tool! - heavy on the fridge door. When it is full, it is a heavy piece to slot on to the fridge door. - the charger sticks out at the back by a lot... Wish there was a niche for the charger so that it can be put closer to the wall

Very easy to use and fits in your fridge door ,easy fill flip top lid i use mt kettle !, keeps nice and cold and easy to clean ! and a good taste no more chlorine,and at 300lt per filter works out at 7pence a ltr so cost effctive £20 so 3ltr tank thats a 100 refills so very Eco and the fact i save 60p on a bottle of water i save loads by ditching plastic water even on the cheapest make !. and the fact i dont have so much plastic waste at the end of the week makes this bit of kit a must have ! for your home ! ,brilliant thank you Philips Excellent at a great price .

Soft water and wonderfully sweet taste.

I have used it for more than one year and it works perfectly. The important thing I noticed is that keeping it inside the fridge will keep it more clean and it will require very less cleaning. I used to clean it when I replace filter only. If you keep it outside in the kitchen with room temperature then it will require more cleaning to avoid fungus, just keep it inside the fridge. The water test much better when we started using this filter. Sometime I use power bank to charge it while keeping it inside the fridge :)

Habe den Filter seit 2 Wochen im Einsatz und bin echt happy, dass ich den Britta Filter-Auffüll-Stress nicht mehr habe. Der Akku hält seit der ersten vollen Akkuladung vor 2 Wochen. Ich produziere locker 6 Liter gefiltertes Wasser jeden Tag. Wenn man den Knopf 1 mal drückt, dann kommt 1 Liter Wasser raus. Ich fülle so meine 1L Soul Bottle automatisch auf. Genau das was ich gesucht habe. Mit einem Trichter kann ich die Flasche dabei einfach in die Spüle stellen. Langfristig muss man natürlich schauen, dass man den Wassertank regelmässig offen stehen lässt und den Wassertank zwischendurch ordentlich durchspült, damit es nicht zum modern kommt. Das würde ein paar negative Rezensionen bezüglich gelben Verfärbungen etc. erklären. Habe hier ein paar beschränkte 1 Stars gesehen, die ein Violettes Licht zeigen, welches Trotz Wechsel auch Violett bleibt >> NACH DEM WECHSEL DES FILTERS GANZ WICHTIG: KNOPF für 8 SEKUNDEN GEDRÜCKT HALTEN. Dadurch ändert sich das Licht wieder ins gewohnte blau und der Counter für den Filter wird zurückgesetzt. Erst wenn das Licht dann wieder violett wird, bedeutet das, dass der Filter wieder gewechselt werden muss. An den Geschmack des Wassers muss man sich zunächst gewöhnen. Schmeckt aber und ich lebe. Tolles Produkt!
