I was plagued with random alarm triggers on my van. A YouTube video suggested checking this switch. Tubs out mine had completely snapped off! Luckily it’s very easy to access the rear panel of the chassis and replace. It took my unskilled clumsy hands no more than 10 mins end to end. The switch works well. You might also like to stick a 2-3mm rubber pad on the inside of the door itself to press against this plunge switch. That guarantees a snug fit when the door is closed. So far it has fixed my issue at a reasonable price. Result!

After my original broke on my sliding door causing the interior lights to come on and off along with the door open warning, I thought I would give this a go. No problems , exact replacement, works a treat. Pop off a bit of the interior Trim in clip the wire from switch, push out old switch, push in new switch, re-connect wiring clip. Push back the trim.
