A lifesaver for upset stomachs in a multi pet household
We originally bought this for one pet experiencing diarrhea, but ended up using it for all four of our animals, including our cats and dog, whenever tummy issues popped up. Every single time, it helped firm things back up quickly and noticeably improved their digestion. What impressed me most is how fast it worked. Within a very short time, the diarrhea stopped and everyone seemed more comfortable and back to normal. That is a huge relief when you’re dealing with multiple pets and trying to avoid a bigger mess or possible dehydration. It’s now something I always keep on hand in the house because it has been consistently effective for us. Highly recommend for pet parents dealing with occasional digestive upset.

DO NOT HESITATE
3 year old less than 20 lbs (12ish) female chihuahua- rat terrier mix. Vaccinations for first 6 months. Her name is Vivienne. My little doggy had diarrhea. She first began with a little diarrhea coupled with vomiting. I was so worried. I looked up natural treatments for it. First, she wasn't eating but NOT lethargic. She drank water. Her diarrhea was very runny and her throw up was clear with a tinge of very light pink. It wasn't bloody, but had a little red fleck here and there. Could have been from broken capillaries. As I said before, she was not lethargic, but I was worried for numerous reasons. I keep an eye out because as you know, dogs eat weird stuff. Once I caught her licking something in the carpet. Quickly, I looked to see what it was and it was a tiny little screw. There weren't anymore around and I have no idea where she found it. Worried, she could have eaten something like that (foreign body) that might need surgery, I waited. Sad truth, no way I could afford a 1 to $2,000 vet bill, and you know how it happens: we just need to rule out (fill in the blank) so lots of testing is done. So, she had diarrhea for about 5 days and during that time she wasn't really interested in food or her kong. I feed her cooked boiled and shredded chicken breast. She seemed finicky about it one night so I backed off from giving her treats. The only ibes she gets are all natural, minimal ingreduents. The only questionable one is vegetable glycerin. She tends to be allergic, so when sge gets sonething she shouldnt eat, obsessive licking and scratching. She always loves the boiled chicken, but one night she wouldn't eat it. The next night she ate just a little. The next day I smelled it and it didn't seem right. I threw it out and made her fresh. She ate it. I wonder if she got a parasite or salmonella from the chicken. So diarrhea ensues. THEN she's trying to vomit several times in one day. With the diarrhea and vomiting I was up with her on and off most of the day. You cannot leave your dog alone if they're sick. Here's what I did and I think it helped. I gave her little bits of raw honey from our area. Tried to give her plain yogurt but she wasn't having it. Took the honey, but it on my finger and lightly pressed it behind her bottom teeth on the inside. It worked like a charm. She had energy was still drinking water but when she slacked off I'd put water into an eye dropper and squirt several in making sure she was drinking it. Hydration is VERY IMPORTANT, when they have ongoing diarrhea, add vomitting to that, not good. Watching their urination output VERY impotant!important! She STILL has diarrhea. It's been about 5 days. It seemed like forever. I was worried. I came across thus product abd saw the reviews abd rating. At the time it was 4.7 so I thought, sounds good I'll give it a try. I knew at the very least it would help her gut health. I ordered it, spent the extra $2.99 for next day, WORTH EVERY PENNY. It came the next day (promised between 7 AM and 11:30 AM) It arrived at 10 AM. I WAS THRILLED. Began giving her the paste in the syringe. I started with 1 ml and graduated to 2. I think in hindsight I'd begin with 2 ml. I'd say it took almost 2 days until we had a regular poop! I was so happy. Listen, have this stuff on hand just in case. Dogs get diarrhea and they vomit. It's a good way to restore the gut. I did not use the capsules, just the paste. The paste smells fine. Reminds me if bananas. It us a little gritty. Placed it on my finger abd scraped it gently on the back of the bottom teeth where she could lick it off. She licked a bit of residual off my finger too, and she is very picky. All in all, I would have taken her to a vet if thus persisted. I think the most important thing was that even though she had stints of sleeping and resting, she was not lethargic or even acted weak. I always weigh the benefits against the risks. I mean we love our babies right? But look at the whole situation first. I cannot say enough great things about this product! KUDOS! KUDOS! KUDOS! P S. I gave a wee bit to my 16 year old kitty. He kicked it no problem. I felt it couldn't hurt and would help his gut.

Great for sensitive dogs
My Shih Tzu tends to get nervous diarrhea and is also very sensitive to change. This tends to keep it at bay so I always have some on hand if my dog needs to start a new medication, is traveling, or having a procedure. It’s easy to open the capsule and sprinkle on his food. He doesn’t even notice it’s on there so I’m assuming it doesn’t taste like much.

Helps to Get Ahead when Your Dog or Cat Suffers from Diarrhea
I do not know about using on a cat but I do have experience using this on my small dog. I try to keep this on hand in case all of a sudden she has an upset stomach. The paste is easy to give and my picky little girl will eat it out of the palm of my hand. This helps to "nip it in the bud," as Barney Fife would say on Mayberry, then follow up as directions say to open the capsule and spread the meds over the food or you can mix it in... After all it is diuretics.
