Installed the new battery and the camera still would not turn on. Checked the battery and the voltage was 3.9+ volts which shows the battery to be good. Put the battery back in the camera and it still did not turn on, no light, nothing. Left it overnight and rechecked the new battery and it was dead. So --- the camera has a short and is shot.
