MegaColor Colored Pencil, Permanent White

I'm a brush pen snob!😂 I compare EVERY brush pen to my Tombows. These are nicer than I expected! I'm starting to draw more and these pens are perfect for that. They are OK for lettering if you're first starting. My first tutorial I learned to not buy the best brands of pens when you first start out... but I did anyway🤣. You will enjoy how many colors there are. Granted, there are many duplicates but who cares! The price is great and who doesn't need extra colors right? Enjoy

The size feels great in my hand, the wax in the pigment makes it go on so smoothly. I love it!!I bought the whole set, but also bought an extra single white pencil, I had a drawing I had tried everything on, but this white is the best! And it easily fit into my grey AFMAT 6-12mm electric pencil sharpener!Everyone that talks about these pencils worries about how to sharpen them, it's super easy!I bought the one separate single white pencil to test for its ability to cover and to see if I would be able to sharpen it, before opening the whole set.These pencils are EASY to sharpen, you just need the right sharpener!A well known great white is Caran d' Ache Luminance 6901 01 But this Cretacolor Megacolor Permanent White 291 01 is even more opaque, it's quite waxy and goes on beautifully.I was so frustrated with this drawing "color pencil painting" I'd been working on, I even bought some GellyRoll Classic Bright White Ink, well known for adding highlights. BUT This BIG Cretacolor Megacolor Permanent White 291 01 is even more opaque!It's the BEST and with all the frustration I had built up with this artwork I was struggling with, this Great White Pencil fixed the problem and let me get a little aggression out in the processI It's so BIG you can just go for it, you don't need to be delicate, I had a large area to cover and I just lay it on! I LOVE IT and highly recommend it! I'm sure I'll enjoy the other colors as well, but when you need a great opaque white, this is the place to turn!

Pencil is good quality but Amazon shipped it in a bag so it came with the tip broken off. Nothing a sharpener can’t fix but still irritating.

and since it is a big pencil, it will last me longer than a normal size pencil. Well worth the price. Have fun coloring!!!

Can’t get enough of this beauty🩷

I don’t know what I was thinking….I was expecting normal size pencil. It says the size clear so was my fault but it is the perfect color.

I bought this pencil after reading reviews on the web and even from a few pros who do PBN (paint by numbers) that this pencil would help to cover the numbers in the cells of the canvas.Well ,it didn’t work so great for me. I had to really put muscle into the canvas and figured out that depending on the grain in that tiny spot meant it half worked going only in one direction over another. And many times I actually left dents in the canvas so this was clearly not a solution for my intended purpose.I suggest for acrylic paints you buy a white paint pen and for oil paints an oil paint pen. Sharpie makes a great one for oils but not acrylics that I couldfind and I looked hard. I ended up purchasing on Amazon from, “Artistro” and got the extra fine tip and it works amazing!I wasn’t paid or given anything from anyone whatsoever to write this review and I am not a bot! This is a genuine and honest review given by a real person, here to try and level the field so people Just like me can make informed choices about what they spend their hard earned money on and trust what people are actually claiming is true before they buy!
