Wow
I bought this for £68 to replace a £125 Barista & Co Core grinder and it beats it hands down. Camel3 shows this has been a slow as £40 in the past but even at £68, I’m happy! It grinds fine and consistently. The ability to tune the grind time to 1/10 of a second ensures consistent brewing. I use it with a Delonghi Dedica with an IMS 18-22g basket and, on its finest grind, if I tamp too hard, it’ll block the machine. Given the Dedica’s 15 bars of pressure, that’s impressive! I grind for 8s and that’s perfect to fill the basket. It remembers your last setting after completing a full grind but will forget and reset to 10s if you unplug it or lose power, not a big deal. The fact it included a rubber bellow for the hopper is great! 8 second grind and then a few pumps on the bellow to blow out what’s left. The burrs come apart easily to clean, no complaints there. The whole unit is small enough to sit on top of the Sage Bambino Plus I just bought (waiting for IMS basket to arrive to test). Either way, tiny footprint. It doesn’t feel or look expensive; it’s light and entirely plastic, but the grind is great! If you’re running a Dedica or alike, this will churn out fine espresso coffee, stupidly cheap. UPDATE: whilst the grind was fine enough for my Dedica it was NOT for my Sage Bambino (unpressurised baskets on both). SO, I removed the central burr and noticed it had 2 shims underneath it. I made a 3rd shim out of aluminium from a soda can (very thin, rust resistant) and it now grinds perfectly! DISCLAIMER: I do not recommend doing this, as if the burrs collide it can destroy them and damage the motor! So, if you choose to do it, do so at your own risk. As per the video, using 17.5G of Cherry Storm No.17 dark edition, I get ~30g in 30 seconds from the Bambino.

Great grinder - well worth buying
I bought this grinder in 2023 and very much appreciated the even grinding at different settings, down to a very fine espresso grind. It is easy to clean and the inner construction seems solid and of very good quality. My only issue was with the receiving container, as a lot of grounds were scattered around, probably due to it always being static. After little more than a year and quite low usage, the grinder suddenly stopped working. I contacted Shardor directly and they immediately sent out a new machine, which didn't arrive... (at my address at least). They then very kindly sent me another grinder, which did arrive. That kind of helpful, prompt and generous customer service, along with the machine doing a great job of grinding, makes me feel this grinder was a great investment. I'm also happy to report that the new receiving container does not suffer from static, so the ground coffee goes straight in without making a big, wasteful mess.

Great for the price
Bought this several months ago now and it works perfectly. Its just the right size to fit next to the espresso machine on the counter and is quick and efficient. The instructions were a bit confusing but once you try it its pretty straightforward. The noise levels aren't too bad, just maybe not for very early mornings or very late nights. Coffee is consistently ground well and makes good espresso. Tried several different kinds of beans and the results are great every time, even with decaf beans.

Decent cheap grinder
For under £50 this is a pretty good burr grinder. It delivers a fairly consistent grind standard and can (just) grind fine enough for espresso. The pre-programmed doses are time based so it's a pretty rough 14kg double (tends to be under), so I'd recommend scales. The only downsides are that it is pretty noisy and the ground container is an annoying design. Pouring ground coffee from a round container with any accuracy is almost impossible. Just make it square or a have some sort of pouring angle. On the upside the ground coffee doesn't stick due to static, which can be an issue with some cheap grinders.

Simply fantastic value for money
I've bought not one, but three of these! One for my parents, one for myself, and one as a gift for a friend. It's a genuinely fantastic coffee grinder with a good degree of consistency and a useful grind-size range. For it's price the quality of the coffee that comes out of it is stunning for both speciality and mass-market blends. The only gripe, which isn't exclusive to this grinder by any stretch of the imagination, is that the guide markings for different coffee styles are pretty much useless (and deceptive if you're not a coffee nerd). A single cup V60 can be at the very bottom of the "drip" coffee range (if not into the "Siphon" range for some very light coffees), and the "pour over" markings are simply WAY too course. The "espresso" markings should realistically be labelled "moka pot" as they're fine and consistent enough for a very good moka brewing experience but FAR too course for any traditional espresso machine (IE: one without a pressurised porta-filter, such as those from Rancilio or Lelit). If you want to grind coffee for a traditional espresso machine, buy something along the lines of the DF64 or Sette. The markings on the grind adjustment aside, everything I've made with this, drip, multi and single cup V60 pourover and moka, has been great. Hopefully replacement grinding teeth will be readily available for when the set included eventually does dull over time as I'd very much be content with this for the foreseeable future.

Disappointed – Common E1 Fault, No Support from SHARDOR
I purchased this grinder in May 2023. It worked fine for a few months, but then suddenly stopped with the E1 error — a fault many others have also reported. Despite thorough cleaning and correct hopper placement, the machine remains non-functional. I contacted SHARDOR support but was told the product is out of warranty and no longer stocked. No repair advice, spare parts, or goodwill solution was offered. Disappointed with the lack of aftercare, especially for a product that failed so soon after purchase. Would not recommend unless SHARDOR addresses this recurring issue.
