Great Juicer!
Excellent juicer! It works quietly and quickly, producing a lot of juice. The pulp comes out almost dry, which means it’s very efficient. Easy to assemble and clean. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Easy Juicing Solution for Appliance You Already Have
An awesome attachment for the kitchen aid mixer. Parts store easily right inside the mixer bowl. Had a juicer before but didn't want to deal with another appliance on the counter top. Works well, sturdy, juices like a gem and easy to clean. Takes up minimal space.

Perfect for trying out juicing
I bought this to try drinking vegetable juice everyday. For $50, totally worth it. Makes quality cold press juice. After 4 months, I knew I want this to be part of my lifestyle, so I've upgrade to the $550 Nama J2 juicer. If you are new to juicing and have a KitchenAid, this is great to try juicing. I would expect it would only last about a year with daily use. Comparing KitchenAid to the Nama J2: Yield and juice quality: Both about the same, but Nama J2 might grind leafy greens a little better Time: KitchenAid is slower and you have to add ingredients one at a time. Nama J2 is much faster, lets you load everything at once and walk away. Jamming: KitchenAid sometime jams near the end of a single juice. You have to be careful to cut some vegies and juice softer things first. When jammed, take the front off and push the block out (maybe +5 minutes of trouble shooting). Nama J2 keeps on working for 8-12 juices and doesn't require as much cutting. Cleaning: KitchenAid screen is hard to clean and the rubber tube to channel juice gets stained green. The screen for the Nama J2 is easier to clean but has more parts. Froth: KitchenAid is better and makes less bubbles. Size: KitchenAid juicer is much smaller if you don't count the KitchenAid itself In general, this is a solid juicer for trying it out or occasional use. It will take 30-60 minutes out of your day, and more if you are juicing for a whole family or batch juicing for the week. It is worth investing in the Nama J2 if you know you'll use it often and for years. You'll save a ton of time, effort and it has a 15 year warranty. But if you aren't sure you want to invest in that, start with this. The KitchenAid juicer makes quality juice, just with more time and effort, as well as not lasting as long.

A very big bang for the buck!
Unboxing this juicer you will be impressed with it's high quality build. It's heft, and the manufactures choice of materials inspires confidence. It is easily as well built as any 'official' kitchenaid accessory. I have only owned it for a short time, so durability will be something I come back to comment on next year. However, given it's stout build and obvious high quality I am certain this unit will stand the test of time. To date I have juiced celery, grapes, apples and carrots. Not much of test, but I think typical of most needs. It's feed chute is smaller than what you'd get on a stand alone juicer, but given the other upsides I can't see it as much of a detractor. It juices quickly enough to be considered efficient and I was surprised how dry the pulp was. Would this compare to a $300+ juicer in that regard, probably not. But in regards to speed, this is a tad faster. It is most certainly quieter than stand alone juicers, and given as you'll use your kitchenaid mixer, you'll have a ten speed juicer (speeds one and two work well)! I have yet to clog this unit, though if it did clog, unclogging it would be fast and easy. Cleaning takes less than a minute... much easier than cleaning a stand alone. The fact that it stores in a drawer with other hand tools makes this a big win for folks who already own too many appliances ;-)

Worked ONCE then gouged my kitchenaid and flew off
Worked great 1 time. The 2nd time it was nearly impossible to attach. In moments it fell off. The screw in part was all gouged up. I tried to tighten it up and it was spinning around and around with juice spraying every where. I tried holding it on with a towel and the motor felt like it was dragging. When I stopped it it fell off and the screw had gouged my kitchenaid and spirals of shredded metal was falling everywhere. I have the professional size heavy duty motor and it caused excessive damage! I hope it hasn't destroyed my machine from using other attachments. Don't buy this! The holes for the screw don't match up, after the 1st use it gouges metal grooves in the kitchen aid...returned immediately. Save yourself and your quality kitchenaid mixer from destruction and possibly long, sharp metal spirals in your juice. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Would Have Returned But Not Alternative
This juicer gets the job done with a little creativity. Maybe mine is defective but it doesn't fit perfectly into my Kitchenaid. There's an indent on the arm of the auger where the Kitchenaid screw is supposed to fit into but it's misaligned. So instead, the screw barely holds the auger tight and becomes loose very easily, which leads to a disaster or fruit and juice spilling everywhere. Unfortunately it takes 2 people to juice. One person has to hold the device so it doesn't rotate, while the other holds the bowls. The bowls that come with the set are so short that it splatters juice everywhere. So I use taller bowls or set them on top of something to elevate them closer to the output. Honestly, I would have returned this but I missed the return window and I haven't seen anything else on the market. Once you get it going and find the rhythm, it is easy to use. I juice a lot of watermelon and it filters out all the pulp, so it does do a good job. It's just not seamless.

So good. Game changer for juicing fibrous fruit
Works well with pineapples especially. Love pineapple juice and this saves you so much money from buying it pre-made. Works with other fruits as well.

In simple, I was impressed by its build quality from the moment I did its unboxing. It feels as sturdy as Kitchen Aid mixer itself. It extracts most juice out of the fruit and vegetable, we pushed it to the limit by squeezing bunch of ginger and it did wonderful job, The residue came out easily. Though I had to open the end of nozzle to clean the dry residue since I was doing about 800 grams of ginger juice. It comes with a cleaning brush that also opens the blocked dry pulp exit end. It is not dishwasher safe, and hand washing is pretty easy for it since there are not many parts. The end that connects to the motor of the kitchen aid is made of sturdy metal, rest is good quality plastic.

The Masticating Juicer Attachment is a great addition to any kitchen. This attachment allows you to turn your stand mixer into a slow juicer, which means you can make fresh and healthy juice from your favorite fruits and vegetables. The masticating juicer attachment is easy to attach and use. Simply connect it to your KitchenAid stand mixer and start juicing. The slow juicer works by slowly crushing and pressing the produce to extract the juice, which means you get more juice and nutrients compared to a traditional juicer. The attachment is made from high-quality materials. It is also easy to clean, which is a big plus. You can simply disassemble the parts and wash them with soap and water. Overall, I would highly recommend the Masticating Juicer Attachment to anyone who wants to make fresh and healthy juice at home. It's a great investment that will pay off in the long run, especially if you're someone who loves to make their own juice.
