No, if you are putting it inside a tank…everything will disturb/poison the fish that is not natural to them already. However, if you mean that you want to decorate an ornament with a fish theme, of course you’re safe.

How large of an area does one 0.41 oz tube cover?

I am not a expert painter but I would think a 0.4 oz tube could easily cover at least 2 large 20 by 20 canvases if it was primed
