This is an important speaker because it has a rare design that matches exactly what I need. Let me explain. Unlike other small speakers that I plug or bluetooth into my mac, this one truly has a separate volume control and amplifier. All other small speakers I've tried, whether wired or bluetooth, if you use the volume control on the device, that simply changes the volume setting on my computer. So they have a fixed volume and use the computer to change what I hear. But with this one, if I turn its volume up or down using the volume nob on the unit, the volume on the computer does not change but the unit does. This is really important because I often have the volume on my computer set all the way to full volume. And then I get a person on a Youtube video (or Zoom participant) who is talking too low in volume, even for my computer. On most speakers I am stuck. There is no way to go higher. But with this speaker, I can still crank the volume up a LOT. This is really, really, important. I do a lot of Zoom calls with the participants who are hard to hear so I am glad I can turn this up beyond computer max. And in general, I like being able to control the speaker separate from the computer vol control. The sound quality is excellent btw. Surprisingly great sound for the price. Just the right amount of restrained bass, not too boomy, like most external speakers. Note, this next point is critical. You need to be aware of what you are buying and how you plug it in. I bought the less expensive one, the one that comes with a hard-wired headphone jack wire to provide the sound input (plugs into your computer headphone jack) and also comes with a separate hardwired USB wire to provide power (plugs into any powered USB-A source). So with this model, you must use that headphone wire to get sound, which is exactly what I wanted (I have a desktop mac). So no bluetooth and no USB A sound input. Rather, the accompanying USB A cord on this unit is for power and power only, not for sound. So you'll need to plug it in too. Again, you will have to plug both the headphone jack and the USB cord in. Keep that in mind. That worked perfect for my needs but your needs may vary.

Received In brand new perfect condition. Wow if I could give this ten stars I would. Just absolutely fantastic! I’m using this on my raspberry p4 and it’s great. Glade I took a chance on this. Works so good on my pi4 and just ordered a second one. I own pi4’s and pi5’s great little computers. All of mine are in different tower cases. It’s really rare for me to like something this much. Great mini sound bar. Can you tell! I super duper highly recommend this sound bar!!

I've had this for almost 2 years now - if you're looking for a functional and cheap soundbar just get this one. It's plug & play, no issues connecting ever. If windows needs to recognize the device you can set that up, or just un/replug the USB. Pros: - compact and very lightweight. easy to pick up and move around as needed; easy to slip into a suitcase or laptop backpack for travel. - I have never, ever turned my sound up more than halfway. My pc is at half volume, and the soundbar is set at 1/4 to 1/2 volume all the time. If I turned both to max you'd probably break the speaker it would be so loud. You won't have trouble with output - price is great The only Con: - at some point the LED lights unsynced and show different colors. TBH this is purely cosmetic and LED lights are bound to unsync at some point, especially when powered on and off frequently. It doesn't bother me at all. Seriously if you just need a cheap speaker, you likely can't go wrong with this one. After almost 2 years of use I have no need or interest in getting a different one.

Just got this speaker today and wow sounds pretty damn good . The speakers internally in my laptop are failing and sound awful now. This speaker has the usb connection for power and aux cable for the audio output of my laptop . I am very happy with this purchase.

If only it had some volume, it would be a great little speaker. It's still so quiet with both the speaker volume and my PC volume turned on max, it can't be heard well at more than 4 or 5 feet away.

It’s a nice speaker especially for the 18 dollars I paid, u can’t set the led lights to one specific color it just keeps changing or you can turn it off, sound wise it’s good for gaming and watching yt but def not as loud as a regular speaker, then again I never have it louder then the max it’s set on, just connected it to my ps5 and monitor works great👍

Speaker did not even last me 8 months. It worked for my computer monitor until all of a sudden, it didn't. Thought it was an issue with my PC but the sound won't come through the speakers even on a laptop or phone. Only outputs sound if headphones are plugged directly to the back of it. What is the point of that? When I could just plug in headphones to my PC if I wanted to the sound to not omit to the outside environment? Probably an issue with the firmware or driver. In the end, not a reliable brand & a complete waste of money.
