Great crossbow and budget friendly
First off, this is my 2nd Centerpoint and I’m very pleased with both of them. This bow has some punch to it. What ever you hit with it, is definitely gonna know it. Easily shoots through a deers shoulder blade and gets to the old pumping station and takes care of business. Easy to put together and took maybe 10 minutes. Good quality and at the price point, it’s the best bow on the market. I easily shoot really tight groups at 100 yards with mine. I did put the Burris Oricle X scope on it from the start as I’m a prolific hunter and wanted this crossbow to be the last bow I buy. Buddys that come hunt that don’t have a crossbow always use my old Centerpoint Sniper 370. They always comment how much they like it. Then they shoot my Amped 425 and are blown away. I did get the Centerpoint cocking device and wow, now more cocking rope. I’m a disabled veteran in a wheelchair, and the combination of the Amped 425 + Burris Oricle X + Centerpoint Cocking device = more meat in my freezer. It’s also rather deadly combination on our coyote population.

very good for the price
upgraded from a 10 year old barnett crossbow. happy with my choice. the bow itself feels good quality, i installed a vortex crossbow scope which i already had, and with black eagle .001 arrows i was able to do about 2" at 60 yards and thats non spine indexed factory arrows, so id easily call it worth 350.free included scope is not great, which you should expect of a free included scope on anything that isnt high price range, many spend more than this on just a scope. regardless the bow itself is easily worth the price and capable of high level accuracy and good velocity. when you can just upgrade to a good illuminated and speed adjustable scope and give it good arrows and it will likely outperform most ready to go setups of the same total price.

Junk centerpoint crossbow
This people at this companythat is selling centerpoint crossbow will not stand behind there product. I got the amped 425 not a mouth ago and it blow up on me . It was not dry fired or anything like that but thay are trying to blame me for it failing. So I will not buy a centerpoint crossbow you are buying junk and they will not stand behind there product.

Awesome
This crossbow is fast and very accurate after sighting it in. Assembly was very easy if you watch the video on YouTube. I've shot it 30 times and checked all the parts to be sure they stayed tight and they have. The only little flaw I've noticed is the extendable but stock does rattle slightly. Very good value if you can't afford the high dollar crossbows and shoots just as hard and fast if not a little better.

Centerpoint 425
First crossbow I will be keeping (tried the Barnett wildcat recurve, had it replaced and the replacement was bad as well) and it hasn't disappointed. Accurate and powerful. Regarding the power, be careful, it punches through both sides of my 425fps target at 30 yes (and will probably at longer ranges as well). I have destroyed 2 arrows. One went through my 425fps target at 30 yds and embedded itself 2 inches into a tree and broke when trying to remove. The other was at 20 yards when it went so deep the vanes embedded inside the bag and got mangled when trying to remove. Sucks to lose those arrows but it's a testament to its power. Noise seemed less than the Barnett wildcat, but shouldn't matter as its speed and power are excellent. Its alittle hefty but that's fine. Will try and update as I use it more and for hunting.

Mostly great
String holds too tight to the rail and even with the points lube the sting started showing wear after only a few fires. Otherwise I love this crossbow, but the string will have to be replaced and I hope a shop can adjust it to prevent the wear on the string...
