why are you mixing reviews from the oder model

This does allow more then one Device to be hooked to it works great

There are two different models of this WiFi Router. I have the gigabit version which works very well for my primary use which is the TV and Roku. The signal is very good throughout my house and I can get a fair signal out in my garage which is a free standing building about 100 feet from the Router. I have a second Arris Surfboard Router for my cable supplied internet and Ooma Phone service and provides the signal to the AC1200. The Arris is a 5G model and doesn't reach the garage as well as the AC1200 does.
