Works great, good long cord. Wish it was one of the cloth braided cords, it is one of the rubber ones. Works very well regardless

When buying USB-C to USB-C cables, there are two key characteristics to pay attention to: full-featured vs charging, and whether or not the cable supports greater than 60W of USB Power Delivery charging. A charging cable is basically a simplified full-featured cable with the high-speed data lines removed, allowing for a less expensive USB-C cable that can still give a great charging experience. Charging cables can be built with as few as 5 wires inside, compared to 15 or more wires needed for a full-featured cable, so the trade-off for their lower price is that charging cables don't support USB SuperSpeed, Thunderbolt, or DisplayPort. This Apple USB-C Charge Cable supports charging at greater than 60W, and for the price, it seems to be a bargain. It checks all the important boxes for an on-the-go, in-your-bag charging cable: 2 meters long, slim and light weight, supports the full 100W charging capability of USB Power Delivery, and it uses high-quality deep-drawn connectors. It would be nice if Apple offered longer versions of this cable, but at least there are several third parties like StarTech that sell USB-IF Certified charging cables up to 4m long. The USB-C spec allows for both drawn and stamped connector plugs, but I've found that the drawn connectors are better in terms of durability. Drawn connectors look like they're made from a single piece of seamless metal whereas stamped/folded connectors are usually made of a softer metal and will have a characteristic seam running down the middle of one side of the connector plug. There is nothing inherently wrong with a stamped connector; instead, I'm just highlighting the fact that this cable comes with a drawn connector at a reasonable price.

These are better made than the plastic covered ones that would alway split. They are more flexible.

I like most other computer users buy a good machine ( 2022 MacBook Pro 15") however, I go cheap on peripherals, especially cables. Recently I bought one of the 'other known' USB-C cable brands. I used it to connect my portable SSD drive. I saved recent work to my SSD (connected with the non-Apple cable). It was saved but there was a delay. The spinning beach ball appeared then all of my data on the SSD disappeared as if 'poof' up in smoke. Needless I was upset to the point of almost tears. I back up all of my SSD data to another SSD plus the cloud, still this was nerve-wracking. I ejected the drive (what appeared to be empty), disconnect the SSD from the cable then from my MacBook Pro. I reconnected again to see what seemed to be an empty SSD. I eject the drive and then powered down, thinking I lost all my data. In the middle of the night, it came to me that possibly the cable was the issue. I bought an Apple brand USB-C to USB-C cable. All of my data was still there. I trashed all of my non-Apple branded cables. Save your nerves, folks, and buy the cable designed to go with the brand. I do not own a Bugatti, but I wouldn't put PeP Boy Tires on it if I did.

Quality and price very good. I break every USB-c. Not very usbc can charge iPad. It is strongly built, it charges in a matter of light speed.
