I'm using 2 of these to store grain for baking. They're nice, big and sturdy. The real reason I'm writing this review is that I ordered these and after a couple of weeks, Amazon hadn't delivered them. I contacted the seller and told them I hadn't received them. They got Amazon to refund the purchase. I ordered them again, and got them a couple of days later. Then, about 3 weeks later (5 weeks after the order) I received the original order. I guess Amazon found the box, though given how big it is, it's hard to see how it got lost in the first place. At any rate, the seller is wonderful, and was prompt in replying to me and making sure I got my order.

When they came, they do have a strong smell but we washed them and they work perfectly to store wheat berries in. Great quality.

I recommend using a rubber hammer or block of wood with a standard hammer to assemble the screw ring to the bucket rim. It goes tightly together. Once assembled, the screw lid easily allows access to its contents.

These house natural buckets seem to be well made.

The buckets and lids are exactly as described! The rings went on a little hard. I found a little trick that worked for me. I put the seal on turned the bucket upside down and stood on the carpet on top of the bucket. I braced myself near the doorway and did have to rock a little back and forth. For reference I am about 150 pounds and was standing on the edges of the bucket. The rings sealed with ease (with this trick) and fit perfectly. The quality of the seal (s) they are double sealed is excellent. The color is fine and thickness of the lid and bucket seem standard. I am storing wheat berries and these will be perfect. Happy storing !!

I bought these to store ice melt in & they work great for that purpose. They are totally sealed so humidity does not clump up the ice melt. I would buy again.

These are great! I use them to store my grains. It’s a little tricky to get the lid on but once you do, I trust it will keep my products stored fresh for a long time!
