My TiVo Bolt drive was dying, and I needed a replacement for it. After a few searches on line, I found out that this drive was the best model recommended to replace my factory one, so I went for it.As usual when buying drive on here or another platform, you have to be 100% sure you’re getting one really new and not seller refurbished. Some seller out there like to take old drives, erase them with a special tool that make them look like new, and of course will sell those to you pretending they are “new”.Fortunately, this one was 100% genuine & new as stated in the listing. So, I was very happy with it. The drive even still has the original factory warranty, which is another clue to look for, to be sure you get a real new drive. Also, the replacement procedure of my TiVo drive with this one worked like a charm too, and I was able to get the unit back and running again. So far, the drive works without any troubles or errors. Hopefully that will last.

I saw all the positive comments and purchased the 3TB hard drive for my PS4.The 3TB is too thick to fit in the PS4.I didn't realize until after the purchase that Amazon mixed the reviews of all the sizes together. Its actually the 2TB that will fit.

compre este disco duro en febrero del 2018 y dejo de funcionar en abril del 2020 1 meses despues de que la garantia finaliza no es la primera vez que me pasa con seagate hace un tiempo me paso lo mismo con un disco duro de las mismas caracteristicas que este en mi opinion estos disco salieron muy malos no subo fotos por que no se puede subir fotos de un disco que simplemete deja de trabajar

Works great, doesn't get to hot. Even in small spaces. Met my needs and I would by this again.

For less then $80.00 I doubled my laptop storage.

The 500GB drive in my TiVo Bolt failed recently. This 3TB drive is a drop in replacement requiring no formatting but giving massive recording capacity. Just plug-n-play but you will need to get your cable card re-paired by your cable provider.Update 4-Dec-19 - unfortunately the drive has failed after about 4 1/2 months, so reducing rating to 1 star. Obviously don't know if this is a one-off or systemic. Will update again when replacement is organized.
