Washing instruction

Step 1 : Remove and rinse off the residuals  & knock solids into the toilet.

Step 2: Put the dirty diaper into a pail or bag, until you’re ready to wash it.
.
Step 3: It’s time to wash the dirty diapers.
Plan to wash dirty diapers every day, or every other day, Do not lay diaper or inserts for a long time.

Step 4 : Machine wash with detergent but avoid the use of bleach and softeners.
Start by dumping the dirties  into the washing machine and running a cold cycle.
Add 1/2 cup baking soda and a Downy ball filled to the top with distilled white vinegar.  Start your washer's warm/hot cycle.

Step 5: Air or line dry the cloth diapers.
The best method for drying cloth diapers is outside, on a line, in the sun. Returning to the pioneering days isn’t always possible for everyone, but it is optimal. The sun defeats bacteria with freshness and gives your baby’s bottom the very best results.

(Tip 1 Wash inserts prior to first use : Usually 6 times washes needed to reach its full absorbency.)

(Tip 2 Add baking soda : The baking soda neutralizes acidic odours, removes acid and protein-based stains, and softens the diapers.
Use small quantity of vinegar which removes baking soda, neutralizes alkaline odours and removes alkaline-based stains. 
Rather than adding the baking soda to your washer on wash day, you can add it directly to the diaper pail before you begin to fill it with diapers. This will help keep your diaper pail smelling fresh. Note: if you have hard water, use borax instead of baking soda.)
