It’s magnet works just as strong as the phone does without, it may be tough to get it in, which is what I love most about this thing, but I know this thing is going to take great care of my $1,100 investment 🙏… I’ve never seen an otterbox that has one plastic case and one rubber shield, it’s always been the “snap the two in and then put the rubber case around the whole thing”. Now you place the phone in there and try to work the pretty slim plastic piece to encase into the rubber outside shell. It’s pretty tough without some pointy tools but very well worth it!!! Just wish it came with the holster like all the other defender series I’ve ever gotten 😞.
