Bought this for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. I feel like the older one from years ago was definitely bigger, but that's not important to a child as the new size is much more compact which makes storage easier also. My only real complaint is that while it does light up well enough, you need to be in a dark or reasonably dark room to even know the light is on, and it doesn't seem to light the whole "picture" evenly. Knowing that this makes no difference for a small child, I would say that it's an excellent purchase, especially at the price point. Would recommend for anyone trying to share childhood experiences with their own children.

This was a cute gift that I got for my kids for Christmas, brings back memories from my childhood for sure. Good quality, durable bright colors and fun for kids. Good storage on the inside. This would be great for traveling

Wish I could find the original, this screen is much smaller and the light isn’t nearly as bright. It’s nice to not plug it in but that’s the only new upside. But it’s still great and fun to play with something I loved as a kid too.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my wee one while it was on sale for like $8. Omigosh he loves it! It’s durable & the same size as the originals, so it’s small & easy to pack up & take places. He has so much fun with this, it keeps him busy for an hour at least. Easy to use.

When it said classic I assumed it would be like the original. This is battery operated and much smaller the the "classic". But it is portable which is nice.
